While the National Institute of Design (NID) doesn’t release any official syllabus, we have consulted the previous years’ NID DAT question papers to prepare the syllabus.
The NID DAT 2025 exam is conducted in two stages – DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
The NID DAT 2025 (Prelims) exam was conducted on January 5, 2025. The scores of DAT Prelims 2025 are used to shortlist candidates for DAT Mains. Currently, the M.Des DAT Mains Studio Test and the M.Des DAT Mains Personal Interview is in progress.

NID Design Aptitude Test 2025 – Test Components & Weightage
