Admission to all PG courses at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) will be based on CUET (PG) scores. The exam notification, schedule, eligibility, and other key updates about the CUET PG 2025 exam are available at the NTA portal – pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
The application form for CUET PG 2025 is now closed. TISS CUET PG exam 2025 is conducted from March 13 to April 1, 2025.
Candidates who qualify in the CUET PG 2025 exam can apply for admission to TISS. The scores of the CUET PG 2025 exam will be used to shortlist candidates for an Online Assessment (OA).
The TISS Online Assessment (TISS OA) is an 20-25 minute exam that is evaluated by a three-member panel.
The FINAL merit list for admission to PG courses at TISS will be prepared by giving 75% weightage to CUET PG 2025 scores and 25% weightage to TISS OA.
North Lakhimpur College Admission process also uses CUET Scores, with 20% seats filled on the basis of CUET merit rank.

TISS CUET PG Exam Pattern
The CUET PG exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode.

TISS CUET PG Syllabus
The candidate is urged to carefully go through the TISS CUET PG syllabus 2025 for the subject they have opted for admission to.
TISS CUET PG Exam Center
The NTA will conduct the CUET PG exam in 300 cities across India.
The candidate has to select TWO cities of their choice at the time of filling out the CUET PG application form.
The name and address of the exam city allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the CUET PG admit card.
Note that CUET PG will also be conducted in 24 exam centers outside India.
TISS PG Selection Process
The Selection process of TISS includes TWO Stages:
- CUET PG entrance exam (75% weightage)
- TISS Online Assessments (OA) – Weightage 25%
Note that candidates will be shortlisted for the Online Assessments (OS) based on their CUET PG scores.
So, the candidate first needs to qualify the CUET PG entrance exam to qualify for the next stage.
Shortlisting for TISS Online Assessment (OA)
The candidate will be shortlisted for the 2nd stage of the TISS admission process in the following manner:
- Short-listing of candidates for OA will be based on the CUET PG scores and the number seats available for the program.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be issued call letters for OA.
- The OA will be conducted separately for each program.
Pattern of TISS Online Assessment (OA)
Candidates need to know the following facts about the TISS OA pattern:
- The OA will be conducted for approximately 20 – 25 minutes by a three-member panel.
- The main objective of OA is to assess the candidates’ suitability and interest in studies in the chosen program.
TISS OA Exam Components
The OA will have the following components:
- Extempore Reflection on a Given Topic: Panel members will provide a topic relevant to the programmes of study, and candidates have to present a reflection on the same for a maximum of 2-3 minutes. Candidates can request a second topic if they are not comfortable with the one initially given. However, there will not be a third choice.
- Online Personal Interview (OPI): The panel will engage with candidates to understand their motivation, interest, preparedness, and basic subject knowledge from their undergraduate studies. The OPI will also explore candidates’ understanding of social and economic realities. It is important to note that these are indicative areas of exploration during the OPI.
- Online Group Discussion/Case Discussion (OGD/OCD): For PG programs such as the Master of Arts in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations (HRM&LR), Master of Arts in Organisation Development, Change, and Leadership (ODCL), there will be an Online Group Discussion and OPI. Additionally, for the Master of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship (SE), there will be an Online Case Discussion and OPI as part of the second round of selection.

TISS CUET PG Result
The result of the TISS CUET PG will be declared at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
To check your result, log-in to the result portal using your application ID and password.
The FINAL answer keys will be used for preparing the Result/ NTA Scores for the CUET (UG) – 2025.
NTA will share scores and candidate data with all the participating Universities/ Institutions.
Validity of the CUET PG score 2025
The NTA Score of CUET (PG) – 2025 would be valid for admission to the academic year 2025-26 only.
Use of RAW scores
The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of CUET (PG) 2025.
For multi-shift papers, raw (actual) marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA Score.
How to register grievances against TISS CUET PG Result
