CUET Cut-off 2025 – Determining Factors, When will Cut-off Released, Institute-wise Cut-off

CUET Cut-off 2025 – The participating universities/ colleges will release the CUET 2025 cut-off at the time of CUET (UG) 2025 counseling. The cut-off will include the category-wise opening and closing ranks for the academic program offered by the CUET 2025 participating institute. Candidates who meet the closing rank (or cut-off rank) will get admission.

The cut-off will be released for each round of seat allotment.

If a candidate misses the cut-off for a round, they will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. However, if the candidate misses the CUET (UG) 2025 cut-off for the last round of seat allotment, they will not get admission.

Keep reading to learn more about the CUET 2025 cut-off.

Latest Updates:

Who will release the CUET (UG) Cut-off 2025?

Candidates may note that the NTA will neither conduct CUET (UG( 2025) counseling, nor will it release any cut-offs.

In fact, the role of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the CUET (UG) 2025 exam, declaring the CUET 2025 results, and sharing the scorecards with CUET (UG) participating colleges.

Instead, the counseling process for CUET (UG) qualified candidates will be conducted by the participating universities at an institute level. Meaning, once the CUET results are declared, the candidate must go to the institute portal and apply for admission based on their CUET scores.

CUET Cut-off 2025 – When will it be released?

The participating institutes will release CUET (UG) 2025 merit list that will include the names of candidates selected for admission. Normally there are more than one merit lists.

Each merit list will include a cut-off for the seat allotment round.

The CUET UG 2025 cut-offs / merit list will be released at the time of CUET (UG) 2025 counseling, which will be conducted by the participating institutes soon after CUET (UG) 2025 results are declared.

So, to keep track of the counseling schedule, the candidate must keep visiting the institute admission portal once CUET results are declared.

Also Read:
