CEED Answer Key 2026

IIT Bombay will release the FINAL answer key of CEED 2026 after considering feedback given by the candidate against the draft key.

Objections against the CEED 2025 draft answer key will be accepted soon after the release of the draft key.

IIT Bombay will release the draft answer key of CEED 2026 within a few days of the exam.

The FINAL answer key contains the official and correct answers (or keys) to questions asked in the CEED 2025 exam.

So, using the answer key, the candidate can calculate their probable scores. Refer to the CEED 2026 cut-off for institute-wise opening and closing ranks. Meanwhile, consult the CEED 2025 exam pattern to understand the marking scheme.

CEED Cut-off 2026

IIT Bombay will release the category-wise CEED 2026 (Part A) cut-off around the 1st week of February 2026. The cut-offs will be released in the form of mean and standard deviations.

The mean and standard deviation for Part-A (CEED 2025) were 45.48 and 16.98, respectively. In contrast, the mean and standard deviations for CEED 2024 exam were 41.90 and 16.72, respectively.

The Part A cut-off is used to shortlist candidates for the NEXT round.

Note that Part B answer booklets will be evaluated for only such candidates who meet the Part A cut-off (or in other words, get shortlisted).

So, if a candidate fails to meet the Part A cut-off, they are essentially out of the admission process. Their CEED 2026 scorecard will only contain the Part A marks.

Part B marks, CEED 2026 score, and merit ranks will be allocated only for candidates who meet Part A cut-off.

Meanwhile, the admission cut-off for CEED 2026 will be released by the individual participating colleges of CEED 2025 at the time of counseling and seat allotment. The cut-off will be prepared by considering factors like CEED 2025 merit rank, seats available, category, etc.

CEED Counseling 2026

IIT Bombay will not conduct any centralized counseling for the CEED 2026 participating colleges. Instead, the candidate must apply directly to the participating college using their CEED 2026 scorecards.

The participating colleges will START the CEED 2026 counseling process soon after CEED 2026 results are declared.

So, the candidate is urged to keep visiting the admission portal of the institute they desire admission to once the results are out.

Note that each institute will have their own CEED 2026 cut-off based on applications they receive, the merit ranks of applicants, seat intake, etc.

Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will only get admission. If any candidate fails to meet the cut-off, they may be considered for admission in subsequent rounds (if available).
