CEED Exam Centre 2026 – IIT Bombay will release the list of exam cities for CEED 2026 on its admission portal. The details can also be checked in the CEED 2026 information brochure.
In the previous edition, the CEED exam was held in 27 cities. It is likely that the list of CEED 2026 exam cities will remain the same. However, if any new exam city is added or an old one is dropped, the updated list of CEED 2026 exam cities will be provided here.
Note that IIT Bombay will only release the cities where the CEED 2026 exam will be conducted. However, it will not release the names of the specific CEED exam centers 2026. The candidate can check this information in the CEED 2026 admit.
The CEED admit card will include the name and address of the CEED 2026 exam center allocated to the candidate along with the reporting time and exam-day guidelines.
On exam-day, the candidate must report to the CEED exam center 2026 with their admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

How to Select CEED Exam Center 2026
The candidate can select their choice of CEED 2026 exam city when filling out the CEED 2026 application form. You have to mandatorily select three cities in the order of priority.
However, note that the candidate can’t directly select any exam center.
In fact, the allotment of CEED 2026 exam centers will be based on factors like exam city opted by the city, seats available at existing exam centers, etc.
An exam city can have one or more exam centers.
The name and address of the CEED exam center 2026 allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the admit card.

How many CEED 2025 Exam Centers Should I Select?
The candidate must compulsorily choose THREE cities in the order of preference during the CEED 2026 online registration. Once the registration form is submitted, a request for a city change will NOT be entertained.
CEED 2026 Exam Center and Exam-day Guidelines
- Exam date and time: January 2026, 9.00 am – 12.00 noon.
- Reporting time: Candidates must report at the CEED 2026 examination centre (as allotted in the admit card) at 7:00 am
- Documents required – The candidate must bring a printout of the Admit Card and a Valid, Original Photo Identity Proof. This is required to record the biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) before appearing for the examination.
- Verification of the candidate’s identity – The identity of the candidates will be verified by invigilators as well as IIT representatives. If the identity of a candidate is in doubt, the candidate may not be allowed to appear in the exam. However, at their discretion, the authorities may permit the candidate to appear in the exam after completing certain formalities. No extra time will be allowed to complete the examination for time taken to complete these formalities. If candidates with doubtful identities are permitted to appear, their candidature will be subject to the decision of the UCI Committee, which will be final and binding.
- Impersonation and/or use of any unfair means is a serious offence and will result in immediate disqualification.
- Barred items – Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any electronic devices (mobile phones, smart phones, watches of any type, calculators, tablets and the like), abacus, slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, and so on to the examination hall.
- Drawing Materials: Candidates must bring their own pencils in a transparent packet. Sketch pens, color pencils, poster colors and other colouring materials are NOT permitted inside the examination hall. Candidates may bring a writing board of A4 size. Exchanging and borrowing of these materials are NOT permitted inside the examination hall.
- The candidate is not allowed to leave the examination hall until the exam is over.
- Part-A of the examination is a computer-based test. In the event of any technical problems, candidates must approach the invigilator for assistance, and steps will be immediately taken to remedy the problem or assign a different computer terminal if required. Candidates will get the allotted time to attempt their paper even in the event of any technical problem, and the time lost due to technical problems shall be automatically adjusted in the server.
