Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2025 – ASTU has released the eligibility criteria for Assam CEE 2025 exam on its admission portal – astu.ac.in. The candidate must consult the eligibility criteria before filling out the Assam CEE application form.
The admission committee will verify the eligibility of the candidate during Assam CEE 2025 counseling. Any candidate who is found ineligible will be disqualified. Further, if a candidate is found to be using counterfeit documents to fake their eligibility may also face criminal charges, if caught.
As per Assam CEE 2025 exam eligibility criteria, there will be no maximum age limit for appearing in the exam. Assam CEE exam 2025 will be conducted on April 27, 2025.

Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2025
Assam CEE eligibility criteria 2025 outlines all of the requirements that the candidates must meet to be eligible for admission. Check the detailed Assam CEE eligibility criteria below:
- Nationality and Domicile – The candidate must be an Indian citizen and fulfill the domicile requirements of Assam.
- Age Limit – Should not be below 17 years of age on the date of registration. There is no maximum age limit.
- Qualifying exam – The candidates must have passed the 10+2th examination in a single sitting without any grace marks in the mandatory subjects. Also, the candidate must have passed individually in both Theory and Practical.
- Minimum marks in Qualifying exam – The candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For reserved category candidates, the minimum aggregate mark is 40%.
- Should have passed Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English individually.
OTHER Conditions:
Heer are a few more requirements that the candidate must fulfill:
- Candidates are expected to possess good moral character.
- Should be in good physical and mental health
- Applicants who wish to be considered for the Central Government Employee quota must submit their proof of permanent residency from conserved state authorities outside of Assam.

Verification of Assam CEE Eligibility 2025
Admission officials will verify the eligibility of the candidate both at the time of the application submission process and counseling.
If candidate’s don’t meet the Assam CEE eligibility criteria, their application forms will get cancelled. However, if the candidate fakes their eligibility to meet the prescribed criteria, they can be disqualified at any stage of the admission process.
Assam CEE officials will verify the original documents at the time of Assam CEE 2025 Counseling. Any candidate found forging documents or involved in illegal acts will be disqualified and legal cases may also be filed against such candidates.
Assam CEE 2025 application form
ASTU released the application form for Assam CEE 2025 exam on February 5, 2025. The last date to apply for the exam was March 9; application fee was accepted till March 11.
Candidates who met the eligibility criteria may apply before the last date.
As part of the Assam CEE 2025 application process, the candidate had to get registered, fill in personal, academic, and communication details, select an Assam CEE 2025 exam center, upload documents, and pay the application fee.
Assam CEE 2025 application fee has been increased to INR 1350 (from INR 1100).
