JoSAA Cut-off 2025 – The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the cut-off at the time of JoSAA 2025 2025 counseling. Cut-offs will be released for each round of seat allotment. Note that JoSAA counseling is conducted in multiple rounds.
The cut-off will be released online at josaa.nic.in.
To check the cut-off, go to the menu and click on eServices, and then select Opening and Closing Ranks.
You will then have to select the year, counseling round, institute type, institute name, academic program, and seat type/ category. Once you have selected the options, the corresponding JEE Main 2025 cut-off will be displayed on the screen.
You can use the above options to also search and download previous years’ JoSAA cut-off.
JoSAA 2025 cut-off will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks.

How to check JoSAA Cut-off 2025
The cut-off of JoSAA 2025 will be released online at josaa.nic.in. To check JoSAA cut-off for a participating institute, follow these steps:
- Go to josaa.nic.in
- Click on the “eServices” tab
- Next, select the “Opening and Closing Ranks” option
- You will be redirected to a form, where you need to select: 1) Year, 2) Counseling Round, 3) Institute Type, 4) Institute Name, 5) Academic Program, and 6) Seat Type/ Category.
- Next, click on “Submit”
- The corresponding cut-off will be displayed in the form of opening and closing ranks.
Factors that will determine JoSAA Cut-off 2025
The JoSAA cut-off, among others, will depend on the following factors:
- The number of applicants
- Total seat intake
- The merit rank of the candidate in JEE Main 2025/ JEE Advanced 2025
- The college option selected by the candidate
- The category under which admission is sought.
If any of the above factors change, the cut-off would also change. For instance, if the number of applicants increases, it will push the cut-off higher. On the other hand, fewer applicants can mean a lower cut-off.
