AIBE XX (20) 2025 – The Bar Council of India (BCI) is expected to conduct the AIBE XX 2025 exam around the 1st week of December 2025. The exam will be held offline as a pen-and-paper test. AIBE is no longer an open-book exam. However, candidates are allowed to carry Bare Acts without comments (or notes) inside the AIBE 2025 exam center.
The AIBE 2025 application form will open in September 2025 (tentative).
As per the updated AIBE (XX) 2025 eligibility criteria, the candidate is not required to enroll with a State Bar Council to appear in the exam.
Candidates who qualify in the AIBE exam will be issued the Certificate of Practice (COP) which is mandatory to practice in a court of law.
AIBE XIX (19) 2024 Exam Update
The AIBE 2024 (XIX) results were declared on March 21, 2025. Candidates can check the results using their roll number and password. The AIBE XIX (19) scorecard download link is given below. The FINAL AIBE 2024 answer key was released on March 6, 2025. It contains the official and correct answers to questions asked in the AIBE 2024 exam. The final key is prepared by considering feedback given by candidates against the provisional key, which was released on December 28, 2024.

What is the AIBE exam?
The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a national-level exam conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
The AIBE is not an entrance exam.
Instead, it is a certification exam.
Candidates who qualify in the AIBE exam are issued the Certificate of Practice (COP) certificate. This certificate allows the candidate to practice law in India.
3-year and 5-year LLB graduates are eligible to appear in the exam, which is conducted once every year in offline mode.

What is new in the AIBE exam?
No new changes have been made to the AIBE exam pattern or syllabus.
The BCI has issued the CoP to candidates who have qualified in AIBE XVII. The certificate can be downloaded online using the AIBESCOPE mobile application.
AIBE Result 2024 (Declared)
BCI declared the results of AIBE (XIX) 2024 on March 21, 2025. The result link is provided above. To check your results, log-in to the result portal using your roll number and password.
AIBE 2025 result will include details like the qualifying STATUS of the candidate. However, it will not include sectional or overall scores.
Such candidates who qualify in AIBE (XIX) 2025 exam will be issued the Certificate of Practice (CoP).
AIBE Admit Card XIX 2024
BCI released the AIBE 2024 admit card on December 15. Candidates who registered for the exam had to download the admit card by following the link given on this page.
The BCI released the following instructions for downloading the AIBE XIX (19) Admit Card 2024.
“Follow these Instructions to download the Admit Card:
Visit the AIBE-XIX website: https://aibexix.register.smartexams.in/home and log in using your registration credentials.
Click on the “ADMIT CARD”.
Click on the “View Admit Card” button to view the detailed admit card.
Click on the “Download PDF” button at the top corner to download the admit card.
Examination Timing is “10:00 AM to 1:00 PM”
Candidates should report at their respective Examination Centre by “08:30 AM”
Candidates will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after “10:15 AM”

AIBE 19 Exam Centres 2024
AIBE 20(XIX) 2024 exam will be conducted in 55 cities across India. The list of AIBE (XIX) 2024 exam centers is given on the exam portal.
When filling out the AIBE 2024 application form, the candidate could only select the exam city.
The name and address of the exam city allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the admit card.
The allotment of AIBE 2024 will be based on the city selected by them and their address.

AIBE 19 Answer Key 2024
The BCI released AIBE 19 (XIX) Answer Key 2024 in two phases
- Phase 1 – Provisional answer key of AIBE 2024
- Phase 2 – FINAL answer key of AIBE 2024
The AIBE 19 Provisional Answer Key 2024 key was released on December 28, 2024. The answer key can be downloaded online at allindiabarexamination.com.
Candidates were also be given the option to challenge the provisional answer key from December 30 – January 10, 2025.
Using the AIBE 19 Objection Window 2024, candidates could submit their objections by logging into the candidate portal.
BCI release the AIBE 19 final answer key 2024 on March 6, 2025. The final key was released after reviewing the objections submitted by candidates.
How to raise objections against AIBE Answer Key 2024
If you have any objections against the AIBE XIX 2024 Answer Key, follow these steps to submit an objection:
- Go to the BCI portal
- If the objection window is open, the “Objection Filing” link will be activated.
- Click on the link
- You will be redirected to the “AIBE Objection” form
- Log-in to the portal using your candidate credentials
- Next:
– Selecting your Paper Code (A, B, C, or D)
– Choose the Question Number
– Review the official answer that is automatically populated
– Enter your answer.
– Add remarks if you have any
– Attach documents supporting your objection claim
- Once you are done, submit the AIBE 2029 XIX objection form.
