The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the provisional answer key for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 examination.
The CSIR-UGC NET December 2025 exam was conducted on December 18, 2025, in computer-based test mode at various centres across the country.
Candidates who appeared in the exam can check the provisional answer key along with their individual response sheets on the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in. The CSIR NET exam is held to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in subjects including Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences.
As per past trends, the provisional answer key is usually released within a week of the examination. After its release, candidates will be given an opportunity to raise objections if they find any discrepancies in the answers provided. Objections can be submitted online by paying a prescribed fee for each question challenged.
Once the objection window closes, the NTA will review the challenges submitted by candidates. Based on this review, a final answer key will be prepared. The CSIR NET December 2025 result is expected to be announced in January 2026 on the basis of the final answer key.
To download the CSIR NET December 2025 answer key, candidates will need to visit the official website, click on the answer key link, and log in using their application number and date of birth. It is advised that candidates regularly check the official portal for the latest updates and notifications related to the examination.
