New Delhi, October 14, 2025 – The All India Management Association (AIMA) is set to open registrations for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) December 2025 session imminently.
As the September 2025 session wraps up with exams on September 21 (Paper-Based Test) and September 28 (Computer-Based Test), AIMA’s official portal hints at “details available soon” for the year-end cycle. This comes amid a surge in MBA applications, with MAT scores accepted by over 600 B-schools, unlocking access to 20,000+ seats in premier institutes like Amity Business School, PSG Institute of Management, and Alliance School of Business.
MAT 2025 exam scores will be considered for admission in top MBA and PGDM programs across India.
Conducted quarterly since 1988 and approved by the Ministry of Education, GoI, MAT remains a flexible, low-pressure gateway to business education.
“With its new-age format and multiple modes, MAT empowers candidates to choose what suits their schedule,” said an AIMA spokesperson in a recent update.
MAT scores are valid for one year, allowing multiple attempts – with the best score considered – making the December session ideal for those targeting 2026 intakes.
MAT 2025 registrations for December are expected to start within the next two weeks, mirroring the September timeline where applications closed mid-month.
