IIT Bombay will start the admission process for UCEED 2026 in October 2025. In a notification published on July 30, it had notified that the UCEED 2026 exam will be conducted on January 18, 2026, while the detailed exam notification will be released by October 1, 2025.
It is very likely that the UCEED 2026 application form will be released alongwith the exam notification; in the previous edition, the application form opened on October 1, 2024.
Launch of new exam portal for UCEED 2026
IIT Bombay will also launch a new exam portal for the UCEED 2026 exam. The current exam portal is for the UCEED 2025 exam – https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in/2025/
The exam portal will contain all the updated about the exam, including:

- Application submission link
- Eligibility criteria
- Syllabus
- Question paper structure
- Exam cities
- Information brochure
- Useful resources for download, like answer keys and previous years’ question papers
- List of participating and result-sharing institutes
- FAQs, etc.

UCEED 2026 exam date and application form
The UCEED 2026 exam will be conducted on Sunday, 18th January, 2026 (9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon). Part A of the exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode, whereas Part B will be held offline.
Further, Part B will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A.
The application form for UCEED 2026 has to be filled out online. The scores of the UCEED 2026 exam will be considered for admission to the B.Des program offered by participating colleges.
Note for if you are seeking admission to the M.Des program, you need to take the CEED 2026 exam.
