Pearl Academy Admission Process 2025
Admission to design courses at Pearl Academy 2025 will be conducted in FOUR steps:
- Apply for the course
- Entrance Exam – The written entrance exam will have the following TWO assessments.
- General Proficiency Test (GPT) – The test will measure the applicant’s skill in English Language, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation
- Design Aptitude Test (DAT) – It will evaluate the creativity, drawing, design prowess, observation and imagination skills, eco-consciousness, and effective communication abilities of the candidate.
Note: The assessment depends on the course you choose. E.g. Business courses allow you to opt for GPT only while Fashion and Design courses allow you to opt for GPT+DAT.
- Personal Interview – The written admission test will be followed by a Personal Interview. The PI will evaluate the applicant’s qualification and potential.
As part of the PI, the candidate must also showcase their portfolio, which will be used to evaluate the technical ability, conceptual clarity, and material handling skills of the candidate.
The portfolio should reflect the candidate’s unique ideas, creative spirit, willingness to experiment, and their skills in translating concepts into tangible designs.
