MHT CET 2026 – The Maharashtra CET Cell is expected to conduct the MHT CET 2026 exam in April 2026. The exam will be conducted in an online, computer-based mode across various exam centers in Maharashtra, as well as a few exam centers outside Maharashtra. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
The MHT CET 2026 exam will be available in TWO subject combinations – PCB, and PCM.
PCM candidates can apply to B.Tech/B.E courses, while PCB candidates can apply to B.Phrama and D.Phrama courses.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts – morning and evening.
The candidate can select their subject combination when applying for the exam. The MHT CET 2026 application form will open in December 2025. The application link will be provided here.

MHT CET Application Form 2026
State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will start the online application process for MHT CET 2026 around the last week of December 2025.
The application form will open online at cetcell.mahacet.org.
The application link will be provided here once the registration process starts. To fill out the MHT CET 2026 application form, follow these steps:
- Go to the MHT CET 2026 exam portal
- If the application form is open, the registration link will be activated
- Click on it
- A registration form will open. Enter your name, email ID, and mobile number. Also, select a password. On successful registration, a candidate profile will be created.
- Log-in to the candidate portal to fill in the rest of the application form, including academic, contact, and personal details.
- Select exam city – You will have to select THREE exam cities in the order of priority.
- Upload documents – Next, upload documents like photograph, signature, etc., as per the given specification.
- Pay the application – Check that all the details in the application form are duly filled before proceeding to pay the application fee.
MHT CET Exam Pattern 2026
The exam pattern of MHT CET 2026 will be outlined in the information bulletin and provide insights into the question paper, including the types of questions asked, marking scheme, section-wise number of questions asked, weightage, etc.
As per the current pattern, the MHT CET question paper gives 20% weightage to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage to Std. XII curriculum.
