The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will open the online registration for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2026 on October 1, 2025. The application will open at midnight today.
Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria must fill out the UCEED 2026 application form before the last date.
The UCEED 2026 exam will be conducted on January 18, 2026 (9 am – 12 noon).
Candidates aspiring to pursue Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programmes at IITs and other participating institutes must complete the application process through the official website: uceed.iitb.ac.in.

- Click on “UCEED 2026 Registration” link.
- Register with a valid email ID, mobile number, and password.
- Fill in the personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee online through net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.
- Submit the form and download a copy of the confirmation page for reference.

About UCEED
UCEED is conducted annually by IIT Bombay for admission to B.Des. programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur, along with several other participating institutes. The test evaluates candidates on design aptitude, logical reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
