The National Testing Agency is expected to release the provisional answer key for the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination shortly on the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in.
The answer key will contain the official keys (or answers) to questions asked in the exam.
The CSIR NET 2025 (December) exam was conducted on December 18, 2025, in computer-based mode for all notified subjects.
Along with the provisional answer key, candidates’ recorded response sheets will also be released, enabling them to verify their answers and calculate tentative scores before the final result is announced.
The CSIR NET examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship/Assistant Professor through the CSIR UGC NET.

Steps to download CSIR NET December 2025 answer key
The step-wise process to download the answer key is provided below.
Step 1: Visit the official CSIR NET website.
Step 2: Click on the link for “CSIR NET December 2025 Provisional Answer Key.”
Step 3: Log in using the application number and date of birth or password.
Step 4: The answer key along with the response sheet will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and save the answer key PDF for future use.

The provisional answer key will contain question-wise correct answers for all five subjects – Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences.
The response sheet will display the answers selected by candidates during the examination, allowing them to compare and estimate scores using the official marking scheme.
CSIR NET December 2025 answer key challenge
After the provisional answer key is released, NTA will open an objection window. During this period, candidates who are not satisfied with any answer can challenge it by selecting the relevant question, submitting supporting documents, and paying the prescribed non-refundable fee per question. All objections will be reviewed by subject experts.
Final answer key and result
Once the objection process is completed, NTA will publish the final answer key.
The CSIR NET December 2025 result will be prepared strictly on the basis of this final answer key, and no further challenges will be accepted thereafter. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates related to the final answer key and result declaration.
