NEET Entrance Exam – The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET 2025 exam on May 4, 2025. The exam will be held from 2 pm – 5 pm (3 hours duration) in a pen-and-paper mode. The exam will be conducted as per the revised NEET 2025 exam pattern.

NEET 2025 admit cards will be issued on May 1, 2025.

The NTA will release an NEET 2025 advanced city intimation slip before the admit card. It will notify candidates about the exam city they have been allocated.

The application form for NEET 2025 is now closed. The application was open online at neet.nta.nic.in from February 7 to March 7, 2025. Corrections in particulars of NEET 2025 application form were allowed from March 9-11, 2025.

In the last edition, more than 22.79 lakh candidates registered for the exam. Scores of NEET 2025 will be used to fill MBBS, BDS, AYUS, BVSc and AH seats. There were 1,09,170 and 27,868 MBBS and BDS seats respectively.

NEET 2025 Important Dates and Fee Detail

NEET Admit Card 2025

NTA will release the admit cards for the NEET 2025 exam on May 1. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download the admit cards online at http://neet.nta.nic.in.

Log-in to the admit card portal using your application number and date of birth.

On the day of the NEET 2025 exam, the candidate must bring the admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

The admit card will carry details like the roll number, date and time of the exam, allocated NEET (UG) 2025 exam center, reporting time, gate closing time, and exam-day guidelines.

The candidate must preserve the admit card until the admission process is over.

NEET Advance City Intimation Slip 2025

NTA will release the city slip before the release of the admit card. The purpose of the NEET 2025 city slip is to inform the candidate about the exam city they have been allocated.

It will, however, not contain the name of any specific exam center, nor will the city slip be accepted as an alternative for the admit card.

If the candidate bring the city slip, but not the admit card, to the exam center, they will not be allowed entry inside the NEET 2025 exam center.

NEET Application Form 2025 

The application form for NEET 2025 was open in online mode at neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who didn’t or couldn’t apply in this session may apply in the next academic session provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

The steps to fill out the NEET 2025 application form are as follows:

  1. Online Registration: The candidate has to get registered by entering their phone number, email ID, and other details. On successful registration, NEET 2025 application number will be generated. 
  2. Filling of the application form: The candidate has to log-in to the newly created account to fill in the rest of the application form, including personal, academic and contact details. 
  3. Uploading of documents: Scanned images of photograph, signature and other documents have to be uploaded as per the given specification. 
  4. Payment of application fees: The exam fees have to be paid online using Debit/Credit card/ Netbanking/ UPI. 
  5. Taking printout of the confirmation page: After submitting the duly filled application form, take a printout of the confirmation page.

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for NEET (UG) – 2025 is given in the table below.

NEET Syllabus 2025

NTA has released the syllabus for NEET 2025.

The NEET 2025 question paper will have questions from THREE subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The NEET 2025 syllabus includes the topics for each subject, from which questions will be asked in the entrance exam – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The NEET syllabus is similar to CBSE Class 11 and Class 12 syllabi. The candidate must refer to the syllabus when preparing for NEET exam.

The NEET 2025 exam will be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper-based mode. The duration of the exam will be 200 minutes, during which the candidate will have to attempt 200 multiple-choice questions.
