UCEED Syllabus 2026 – IIT Bombay released the detailed the syllabus of UCEED 2026 on October 1, 2026. The syllabus is outlined at uceed.iitb.ac.in. Click on the “Examination “ tab, and then on “Syllabus”. The syllabus is also also mentioned in the UCEED 2026 information brochure.
The UCEED 2026 exam will have TWO parts – Part A and Part B.
Part A will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode and have three sections (NAT, MSQ, and MCQ). Part B will be an offline exam and include two questions – 1) a drawing-based, and 2) a Design Aptitude-based question. The UCEED 2026 syllabus includes the topics for both Parts that are included in the UCEED 2026 question paper.
So, make sure that you consult the syllabus when preparing for the UCEED 2026 exam. Also, make it a point to refer to the UCEED 2026 exam pattern.

How to Download Official UCEED Syllabus 2026
IIT Bombay has released the UCEED 2026 syllabus online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. To download the syllabus follow these steps:
- Go to UCEED exam portal – Click Here
- Under the “Examination” tab, click on the “Syllabus” option
- The syllabus of UCEED exam will be displayed on the screen
- Go through the subject-wise syllabus and use it for exam preparation.
UCEED Syllabus 2025 – Part A
Part A of the UCEED 2026 exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode and include 57 questions that the candidate has to complete in 2 hours. Questions will be asked from the following topics.

| Practical and scientific knowledge | Know-how of scientific principles and everyday objects. |
| Observation and design sensitivity | The capacity to detect concealed properties in daily life and think critically about them. Attention to detail, classification, analysis, inference and prediction. |
| Environment and society | General awareness of environmental, social and cultural connections with design. |
| Analytical and logical reasoning | Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information. |
| Language | Proficiency in reading and comprehending Standard English. |
| Creativity | Grasp of verbal and non-verbal analogies, metaphors, signs and symbols. |

UCEED Syllabus 2026 – Part B
Part B will include two questions – 1) one Sketching-based question, and 2) another a Design Aptitude-based question. The candidate must attempt these questions in 1 hour. The topics for each question type is given below.

How can I complete the UCEED 2026 syllabus
To be able to complete the UCEED syllabus, it is recommended that the candidate starts their UCEED 2026 exam preparation early. Like, you may start exam preparation a year in advance.
This way you will have enough time to complete each topic, solve UCEED 2026 sample and previous years question papers.
Having enough preparation time can also mean you can easily make changes to your preparation strategy if the current one is not delivering the desired results.
