UCEED Exam Centre 2026 – IIT Bombay will release the list of exam cities for UCEED 2026 on its admission portal. The list will also be included in the UCEED 2026 information brochure.

In the previous edition, the UCEED exam was held in 27 cities. 

The candidate has to select their choice of exam city when filling out the UCEED 2026 application form. Candidates must compulsorily opt for THREE cities of their choice, in the order of preference. Once the registration is complete, requests for a city change will NOT be entertained. 

Note that IIT Bombay will not release lists of UCEED 2026 exam centers. Instead, the allotment of exam centers will be based on factors like number of applicants in a city, the address of the candidate, etc.

The name and address of the UCEED 2026 exam center allotted to the candidate will be mentioned on the UCEED 2026 admit card.

The admit card will also carry other important details like exam center reporting time and UCEED 2026 exam-day guideline.

How to select UCEED 2026 exam center

The candidate is not allowed to directly select any specific exam center. Instead, the candidate has to compulsorily opt for THREE cities of their choice, in the order of preference at the time of UCEED 2026 online registration.

Once the registration is complete, a request for a city change will NOT be entertained. 

The name and address of the UCEED 2026 exam center allotted to the candidate will be mentioned on the UCEED 2026 admit card.

The admit card will also carry other details like exam center reporting time, exam timings, rules and regulations the candidate needs to follow inside the exam center/ hall etc.

CEED 2026 Exam Centre and Exam-day Guidelines

  • UCEED 2026 timings: 9.00 am – 12.00 noon.
  • Reporting time: Candidates must report to the CEED 2026 exam centre at 7:00 am
  • Documents required – You must bring a printout of the UCEED 2026 admit card and a Valid ID proof in the original. This is required for biometric verification (thumb impression and photograph).
  • Verification of the candidate’s identity – The identity of the candidates will be verified by invigilators as well as IIT representatives. If the identity of a candidate is found to be doubtful, he or she may not be allowed to appear in the exam. However, at their discretion, the authorities may permit the candidate to appear in the exam after completing certain formalities. However, in such cases, no extra time will be allowed to complete the examination for time taken to complete these formalities. If candidates with doubtful identities are permitted to appear, their candidature will be subject to the decision of the UCI Committee, which will be final and binding.
  • Impersonation and/or use of any unfair means is a serious offence and will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Barred items – Electronic devices (mobile phones, smart phones, watches of any type, calculators, tablets and the like), abacus, slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, etc., are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Drawing Materials: The candidate must bring their own pencils in a transparent packet. Sketch pens, color pencils, poster colors and other colouring materials are NOT permitted inside the exam venue. You may bring a writing board of A4 size. Exchanging and borrowing of these materials are NOT permitted inside the examination hall.
  • You are not allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is over.
  • Part-A of the examination is a computer-based test. If there is a technical issue, the candidate must approach the invigilator for assistance, and steps will be immediately taken to remedy the problem or assign a different computer terminal if required. Candidates will get the allotted time to attempt their paper even in the event of any technical problem, and the time lost due to technical problems shall be automatically adjusted in the server.
