The National Institute of Designs (NIDs) are India’s premier design institutes, known for nurturing creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills. Every year, the NIDs host campus placements to connect its talented pool of designers with leading companies, studios, startups, and organizations across industries.

NID placements are not limited to traditional design careers but extend to diverse domains such as UX/UI design, product design, animation, communication design, apparel, transportation, film, and strategy. Top recruiters from India and abroad – ranging from multinational corporations to boutique design studios – actively participate in the placement process.

The placement cell at NID acts as a bridge between students and industry, ensuring that graduates are placed in roles where they can contribute creatively while growing professionally. Many students also choose to pursue entrepreneurship, higher education, or independent practice, showcasing the versatility and value of an NID education.

The participating colleges of NIDs offer B.Des and M.Des courses.

The B.Des course has an intake of 425 seats, while there are 347 seats for the M.Des program. Admission to these courses will be through the NID DAT 2026 entrance exam.

NID graduates can vary depending on the campus, academic performance, and skill set. The highest salary for a graduate is currently held by NID Gandhinagar, at INR 46 Lakh.

NID Fee Structure 2026: The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the NID DAT 2026 Fee Structure for the M.Des program. However, the NID DAT Fee Structure 2026 for the B.Des program has been released only for NID Ahmedabad.

The fee structure for the other institutes offering B.Des courses will be released soon. 

The NID fee structure is available semester-wise and includes components like tuition fees, insurance fees, alumni fees, and student activity fees. The mess fee, however, is not a part of the NID fee structure and will be notified at the start of the academic session.

The fee structure is divided into refundable and non-refundable components. Non-refundable fee components include tuition fee, while security deposit is refundable. 

Candidates seeking admission to the NIDs must take the NID DAT 2026 entrance exam. The application form of NID DAT 2026 is currently open.

IIT Bombay will release the detailed exam notification for UCEED 2026 and CEED 2026 exams by October 1, 2025. The UCEED 2026 application form/ CEED 2026 application form will be released on the respective exam portals.

UCEED 2026 exam and CEED 2026 exam will be conducted on January 18, 2026 (9 am – 12 noon).

The notification regarding the UCEED 2025 exam date has been published on July 30, 2025, at uceed.iitb.ac.in/2025/. The notification for CEED 2025 exam was published on the same date at ceed.iitb.ac.in/2025/.

How to fill UCEED/ CEED 2026 application form

The application of UCEED 2026/ CEED 2026 has to be filled online following the steps given below:

  1. Click on the registration link
  2. A registration form will open
  3. Enter details like name, email ID, date of birth, gender, etc.
  4. Upon registration, you will have to confirm your eligibility, and then enter the qualifying exam name, passing year, and mobile number.
  5. Select three test cities in the order of priority.
  6. Upload documents like marksheet, pass certificate, photograph, signature, etc.
  7. Finally, pay the application fee and submit the application form.

AIBE Exam 2025 – When will application open; BCI yet to release updates

The Bar Council of India (BCI) hasn’t yet released any updates on the AIBE (XX) 2025 exam. It is expected that the AIBE 2025 application form would be released in September 2025.

In the previous edition of the exam, the AIBE application form was released on September 3, 2024.

So, it is expected that the AIBE 2025 application form should be out anytime now.

The AIBE website currently has updates only on the AIBE 2024 exam. No information has so far been released about the AIBE (XX) 2025 exam.

All the updates about the AIBE 2025 exam will be updated on the website, including AIBE (XX) 20 exam updates, exam schedule, application process, etc.

AIBE XX 2025 Exam Pattern

The AIBE exam will be conducted in an offline mode. Earlier, the exam was conducted as an open-book exam, but as per the updated exam pattern, the candidate is only allowed to carry bare acts without notes (comments).

The duration of the exam is 3 hours 30 minutes. The question paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions.

Number of attempts to clear AIBE Exam 

There is no cap on the number of attempts for the AIBE exam. So, candidates can take the AIBE exam as many times as required.

It is mandatory to qualify the AIBE exam to participate in a court of law.

Candidates who qualify in the AIBE exam will be issued the Certificate of Practice (CoP). The BCI has released the AIBE COP for candidates who qualified the AIBE 19 Exam.

The BCI will conduct the AIBE 2025 exam tentatively on December 21, 2025.

The India Institutes of Management will conduct the CAT 2025 exam on November 30, 2025. The exam will be conducted in three sessions – Session 1: 8:30 am to 10:30 am, Session 2: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and Session 3: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The admit card of CAT 2025 will be released on November 5, 2025.

The Indian Institutes of Management hasn’t yet given any update on the CAT 2025 application form correction. The official CAT 2025 website has also no update on whether there will be a window to edit the application form.

The CAT 2025 exam portal currently states that the admit card for CAT 2025 will be released on November 5, 2025. 

Admit cards will be released to all candidates who have successfully filled out the CAT application form. An important document for taking the CAT 2025 exam, the admit card will carry details like date and time of the exam, roll number, reporting time, and guidelines to be followed inside the CAT 2025 exam center.

What if the CAT 2025 application correction window is not opened?

If the CAT 2025 application form correction window is not available, the candidate can’t edit the application form.

So, it was important that the candidate filled the application form with due care the first time around. Also, if you have selected the wrong category in the form, you may be disqualified or in the best case scenario considered for admission under the open category.
