CLAT Counseling 2026 – The Consortium of NLUs will release the 2nd round of CLAT 2026 seat allotment on January 22 (10 am). The allotment will be published online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in and based on NLU preferences opted by the candidate, CLAT 2026 merit rank, category, and available seats. The direct link to check the seat allotment result will be provided below.

1st round of seat allotment was announced on January 7, 2026.

CLAT 2026 counselling registration was conducted from December 17-27, 2025 (10 pm).

Candidates who are allotted seats in Round I have to pay the seat-confirmation fee by January 17, 2026 (1 pm). The seat allotment for Round II will be declared on January 22, 2025. CLAT 2026 counseling has have FIVE seat allotment rounds.

The 2nd round of seat allotment will be announced on January 22 (10 am).

CLAT exam counseling registration was conducted from May 17-21 in an online, as a centralized process. Candidates who qualified CLAT 2025 exam can participate. As part of counseling registration, the candidate had to register, pay the CLAT 2025 counseling fee, and lock choices (select colleges in the order of priority). The CLAT 2025 counseling registration fee is INR 30, 000 (SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates had to pay only INR 20,000).

The CLAT 2026 exam was conducted on December 7, 2025.

CLAT Counseling 2025 – Eligibility Criteria for Participation

To participate in the CLAT 2025 counseling, the candidate must have passed the CLAT 2025 exam and secured a rank.

Additionally, the candidate must meet the following conditions:

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% (SC/ST/PwD categories) marks or its equivalent in grade.
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam in March/ April, 2025 are also eligible to apply. However, they must produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they may be disqualified.

CLAT Counseling 2025 – Step-wise Process

The counseling for CLAT 2025 was conducted online. The Consortium of NLUs conducted centralized counseling for the participating CLAT 2025 institutes.

In the current edition of the exam, the 5-year LLB program is offered by 25 NLUs, while the one-year LLM program is available at 21 NLUs.

Step-wise CLAT 2025 Counseling process

  1. Register for Counseling – The candidate needs to log-in to the candidate account using their mobile number and password. Next click on the counseling link.
  2. Enter NLU preferences – Depending on the program opted for admission, the candidate has to select their NLU preferences. The entries must be in the order of priority.
  3. Pay the counseling fee – Next, pay the CLAT 2025 counseling fee
  4. Publication of CLAT 2025 Invite List – Based on the options entered by the candidate and other factors like merit rank, category, and seat available, the consortium will publish an invite list. The invite list will be sent via email/ SMS. The candidate can also check the status by logging into the candidate portal.

How to Register for CLAT Counseling

Eligibility criteria to participate in counseling

Eligible candidates will be invited to participate in the CLAT 2025 admissions counselling process in accordance with the CLAT 2025 rank list and the admissions matrix provided by each NLU. 

Invitations for counseling

Eligible candidates will receive: 

  • An email invitation to participate in the admissions counselling process at their registered email address
  • an SMS at their registered mobile number; and
  • an invitation on their CLAT 2025 portal

Candidate’s validation for participation in CLAT Counseling 2025 – Mandatory 

Login to the CLAT 2025 applicant account and validate that you have been invited for counselling during each round. 

The consortium will not take responsibility for any undelivered emails/SMSs. 

So, make sure that you check your emails, sms’s, and CLAT 2025 accounts for any invitation from the consortium.

Register for CLAT Counseling 2025

Follow these steps to register for CLAT Counseling 2025

  1. Update NLU Preference – Log-in to your CLAT 2025 account. If you have been invited for counselling, you will see a “Update NLU Preferences” button. The consortium recommends that you provide a minimum of 15 preferences. Note that if you don’t select an NLU as one of the preferences, you won’t be considered for allotment in that institute even if vacancies are available. You can update the preferences as many times you want until the closure of the counselling registration. Also, you can only move up to the higher preferences and can not go down in the preferences given.
  2. Pay the Counseling Registration Fee – The candidate has to next pay the counseling fee (refundable) through the CLAT 2025 candidate account. Don’t wait till the last minute to make payments to avoid payment related issues.

CLAT Seat Allotment 2025 – Freeze, Float, and Exit Options

Candidates who have been allotted a seat at any NLU must exercise any of the ‘Freeze’, ‘Float’, or ‘Exit’ options.

If the candidate doesn’t choose any of these options, then they will lose the currently allocated seat. Further, they can’t participate in subsequent CLAT 2025 counseling processes. 

CLAT Seat Allotment 2025 – Freeze Option

CLAT Seat Allotment 2025 – Exit Option

The Consortium of NLUs declared the revised results of CLAT 2025 on May 17, 2025. The results, which were earlier declared December 7, were withdrawn,

The candidate can check their results by logging into the portal using their CLAT application number/ Admit Card Number and Date of Birth.

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to announce the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result 2025 shortly on its official website, ssc.gov.in. What the 4-year integrated teacher education programme is

Under NEP, the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) is proposed as a comprehensive pathway for students who intend to pursue teaching as a profession. MAH CET 2026 registration opens for BHMCT, BCA, BBA and other UG courses; Register at cetcell.mahacet.org

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has STARTED the online registration process for the MAH CET 2026 for admissions to undergraduate professional courses including BHMCT, BCA, BBA, BBM and BMS for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website cetcell.mahacet.org until February 16, 2026.

The entrance test, officially titled MAH-BHMCT/BCA/BBA/BBM/BMS Common Entrance Test 2026, will be conducted in computer-based mode between April 28 and April 30, 2026, as per the latest notification issued by the CET Cell. The exam is held for admission to participating colleges across Maharashtra offering management, computer applications and hotel management programmes.

Candidates are required to register using a valid Aadhaar number and APAAR ID, which has been made mandatory for the application process this year.

How to apply for MAH CET 2026

Applicants must submit their forms online only. To complete the registration process, candidates need to:

  • Register as a new user using email ID and mobile number
  • Log in and fill in personal, academic and contact details
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format
  • Pay the application fee online

MAH CET 2026 Application fee details

As per the current official registration notice, the category-wise application fee for MAH-BHMCT/BCA/BBA/BBM/BMS CET 2026 has not yet been specified separately. Candidates are required to check the fee amount displayed on the application portal at the time of payment. Any updates regarding fee structure are expected to be notified on the official website.

Will there be an MAH CET 2026 application correction window?

As of now, the State CET Cell has not announced any separate application correction window for MAH CET 2026. No official information has been released regarding editable fields or correction dates. Applicants are therefore advised to fill in the form carefully and regularly check the official website for updates.

What happens after registration?

Once the registration window closes, the CET Cell will issue MAH CET 2026 admit cards online ahead of the examination. Candidates who appear for the test will be able to download their scorecards after the results are declared. Admissions to participating institutes will be conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) based on CET scores and merit rankings.

PU DAT 2026 – Parul University (PU) will conduct the PU DAT 2026 exam on January 25, 2026. The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be conducted in remote-proctored mode.

The candidate will receive log-in credentials for the online exam via email/sms/call.

The PU DAT 2026 application form is currently open till January 22, 2026. The application is for admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) course. Candidates who met the PU DAT 2026 eligibility criteria must apply following the link given below. 

Parul University will declare the results of PU DAT 2026 within a few days of the exam; the direct link to check the results will be provided here. Candidates who qualify in the exam will be invited for PU DAT 2025 counseling and seat allotment.

The PU DAT 2025 seat allotment will be based on the merit rank of the candidate in the entrance exam.

Note that PID didn’t provide PU DAT 2025 admit card but the candidates receive Login Credentials to give their online DAT via Email/SMS/Call. The DAT will be conducted on WAC (World Assessment Council) online platform.

Skills tested during PU DAT 2026 exam

The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will evaluate a range of skills, including visual perception, creative thinking, problem-solving, design fundamentals, and spatial understanding, among others. These tests are designed to assess an individual’s potential to succeed in the field of design and to identify areas where they may need further development.

PU DAT Selection Process 2026

DAT is conducted by Parul Institute of Design to evaluate the attitude, aptitude, achievement, motivation and perception essential in a potential student of design. 

The PU DAT 2026 selection process will be held in THREE stages:

  1. DAT – Design Aptitude Test 
  2. Portfolio Round
  3. Personal Interview

PU DAT 2026 – Portfolio Submission + Final Result

The candidate will be called to email their portfolios, the second stage of DAT, on the basis of their obtained scores in DAT written exam (first stage). 

A final merit list of PU DAT 2026 will be generated by Parul Institute of Design (PID) on the basis of the sum total of the weighted scores secured by the candidate in each stage of the admissions process. 

Note that everything is conducted online.

PU DAT Mock Test 2026

Two mock tests will be conducted before the final DAT.

The PU DAT 2026 mock test links will be given on the PU DAT 2026 admission portal.

The mock tests will help the candidate get an idea about the remote-proctored exam, the navigation process, and how to attempt the question paper.

The mock test will also help the candidate get acclimatized with the online exam. 

Note that exam officials will share the log-in credentials of the online exam with the candidate before the exam date.

The log-in credentials will be shared with the candidate via email, sms, or call.

The candidate is urged to download and practice PU DAT sample papers to prepare for the design entrance exam.

There are multiple benefits of solving sample papers:

IIT Guwahati releases GATE 2026 admit card; download at gate2026.iitg.ac.in

IIT Guwahati, the organising institute for GATE 2026, has released the GATE 2026 admit card for registered candidates on January 13, 2026. The admit card has been made available online through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) and is a mandatory document for entry to the examination centre. Download it using your enrollment ID and password.

Candidates will not be permitted to appear for the test without a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof.

The release of the admit card enables candidates to check their exam centre details, shift timing and paper code, and verify personal information submitted during the application process.

GATE 2026 exam will be conducted over four days — February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026 in multiple sessions. The exam comprises 30 test papers, including full and sectional papers, with a new sectional paper introduced under the Engineering Sciences category. 

GATE scores are used for admission to postgraduate programmes (such as MTech, ME, MSc, PhD) and can also be considered by public sector undertakings for recruitment.

How to Download the GATE 2026 Admit Card

Candidates can download the admit card by visiting the official GATE 2026 website and logging in to the GOAPS portal using their enrolment ID or registered email ID and password. After logging in, the admit card link will be visible on the dashboard. Candidates are advised to download and print the admit card on A4-size paper and retain it safely for the examination and subsequent admission processes.

Information Included in GATE 2026 Admit Card

The GATE 2026 admit card contains the candidate’s name, photograph and signature, enrolment ID, roll number, paper code and paper name, exam date and session, reporting time, exam centre name and complete address, as well as important instructions to be followed on the examination day. Candidates must ensure that all details are clearly visible and legible on the printed copy.

GATE 2026 Exam-Day Guidelines

Candidates must strictly follow the instructions mentioned on the admit card. 

It is recommended that candidates report to the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the exam starts; late entry beyond the gate closing time will not be permitted under any circumstances. 

A printed copy of the admit card and an original, valid photo identity proof—such as Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, PAN card or driving licence—must be carried to the centre.

Only a black or blue ballpoint pen is allowed for signing attendance sheets or completing any manual formalities. Electronic devices including mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, headphones, Bluetooth devices, digital pens and storage gadgets are strictly prohibited. Candidates are also not allowed to carry written or printed material, bags, wallets or stationery other than the permitted pen. All instructions given by invigilators must be followed throughout the examination.

You can carry a transparent water bottle. Scribble pad will be provided at the center (you must return it once the exam is over).

Also, exam officials will not make provisions for a baggage counter; so you are solely responsible for anything damaged or lost.

What to Do if There Is a Discrepancy in GATE 2026 admit card

In case of any discrepancy in the GATE 2026 admit card – such as incorrect name, photograph, signature, paper code, exam centre or session, immediately contact the GATE 2026 organising authority through the contact details provided on the official website or GOAPS portal. 

Discrepancies should be reported well in advance, as requests for correction may not be entertained close to the examination date or at the exam centre.

GATE is a national-level computer-based exam conducted to assess candidates’ understanding of undergraduate-level subjects in engineering, technology, science and architecture. GATE scores are used for admission to postgraduate program and are also accepted by several public sector undertakings for recruitment purposes. The score remains valid for three years from the date of declaration of results.
