However, the UID DAT 2025 application form is currently open for Lateral Entry, NRI/NRI Sponsored/ Management Categories. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria may apply.
The UID DAT application form 2025 is for admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses offered at the UID Ahmedabad and NCR campuses.
The UID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2025 exam is conducted in online, remote-proctored mode.
Candidates who qualify in the UID DAT 2025 exam will be invited for the next stage – Situation Test (ST) and Portfolio Evaluation (PE).
The FINAL result of UID DAT 2025 will be prepared by giving weightage to all test components – DAT (40% weightage), Situation Test (30%), and PE (30%).

UID DAT 2025 Admission Process
Admission to design courses at the Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID) campus will be conducted through a TWO-tier selection process.
- Tier-I Design Aptitude Test (DAT)
- Tier-II Part A Situation Test (ST) & Tier-II Part B Portfolio Evaluation (PE)
Candidates will be invited for Tier-II or the 2nd stage of the admission process based on the UID DAT 2025 scores.

UID DAT Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates appearing in the UID DAT 2025 exam are urged to carefully go through the exam pattern. This is because the UID DAT 2025 exam pattern will provide insights into the question paper structure, including types of questions asked, mode of the exam, test components, marking scheme, etc.

Prerequisites for UID DAT 2025 Exam
The UID DAT 2025 exam will be an online exam that will be remotely proctored by an AI-enabled electronic proctoring mechanism.
All activities will be monitored throughout the UID DAT 2025 test duration by electronic proctoring mechanism.
Features such as face tracking, face recognition, object detection, and noise detection will be enabled in the exam.
Any candidate found indulging in unfair means will be disqualified.
- You must be seated alone in a well-illuminated area of the room for the exam
- A laptop or a desktop with a functional microphone and a web camera either inbuilt or externally attached, with a constant power supply.
- Internet Speed should be a minimum of 1Mbps
- Preferred browsers: Google Chrome (Ver. 75 or above), Mozilla Firefox (Ver. 70 or above).
- Candidates using any Apple device must use Google Chrome ONLY to take the test.
- The test will not work on the Safari browser.
- Deactivate the screensaver & antivirus software and other notifications for the smooth conduct of the Examination.
- In case of any trouble during login, clear the cache from the Browser and hard refresh the browser by pressing CTRL + F5 keys on your device keyboard.
- Keep any one ID Proof such as an Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, or your School ID Card handy.
- Stationery required for Part B – Approx. 30 Nos. X A4 Sheets, Lead Pencils (grade B, 2B, 4B, 6B, and 8B), colored pencils, erasers, ruler, sharpener, and geometry box for the purpose of examination.
