Assam CEE 2025 Entrance Exam – Assam Science & Technological University (ASTU) will likely conduct the Assam CEE 2026 exam in the 4th week of April 2026 (11 am – 2 pm). The exam will be held in a pen-and-paper-based mode and included 120 MCQs.

Assam CEE 2026 Important Dates

The Assam CEE 2026 exam will be held around the 4th week of April 2026. ASTU is expected to release the application form in February 2026. Check detailed schedule for Assam CEE 2026 exam below.

Assam CEE 2026 Application Form

Assam CEE 2026 application form will open tentatively in the 1st week of February 2026. The application will be released online at astu.ac.in. When filling the form, use only genuine and verifiable information. Details entered in the form will be checked during Assam CEE counseling and seat allotment process.

If any candidate is found to be using misleading information, he or she could be disqualified. Further, criminal charges can also be brought against such candidates.

How to apply for Assam CEE application form

1. Register for the exam – The candidate will have to get registered by entering details like email id, mobile number, name, etc. On successful registration, an applicant account will be generated.
2. Fill in the form – Next, fill in your personal, academic, and personal details. Also, select a test center from the drop-down menu.
3. Upload documents – The documents will have to be uploaded in the given format. Documents you have to upload include 1) Signature, and 2) Photograph
4. Pay the application fee – This is the last step in the application process. Pay the application fee of INR 1350 online using (net banking/credit card/debit card).

Will there be a Assam CEE application correction window?

There will be no window/ option to edit the application form once it has been submitted. So do the necessary due diligence before you submit the application form.

Assam CEE Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

The candidate must ensure that meet the prescribed Assam CEE 2026 eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. This is because exam officials will check and verify the credentials of the candidate during the admission process. If a candidate is found to be ineligible or faking their eligibility, they will be disqualified. Further, those using counterfeit documents to fake their eligibility may be criminally charged.

Assam CEE 2025 Syllabus

Going by previous years trends, it is unlikely exam officials will release any official syllabus for Assam CEE 2026 exam. 

However, candidates can refer to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council/NCERT syllabus to prepare for the exam. 

By carefully going through the syllabus, the candidate will get insights into the subjects, units and important topics for the examination. To make things easier, the candidate may segregate the topics into categories like easy, difficult, and moderate.

Also, make a study time table to ensure the syllabus can be completed on time.

The Assam CEE syllabus will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Assam CEE Exam Center 2026

The Assam CEE 2025 exam will be conducted in 10 cities across Assam. The name and address of the Assam CEE 2026 exam center allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the admit card.

Candidates successfully register for the Assam CEE 2026 exam can download the Assam CEE 2026 admit card online at astu.ac.in. The admit card can be downloaded from around the 2nd week of April 2026 onward.

To download the admit card, follow these steps:

1. Click on the admit card download link
2. Log-in to the portal using your application number and password
3. On log-in, you can download the Assam CEE 2026 admit card.
4. Download and take a printout of the admit card.

On the day of the Assam CEE 2026 exam, you will have to bring the admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

The admit card will contain details like name of the candidate, exam date and time, exam center address, roll number, and exam-day guidelines.

Last-minute Tips for Assam CEE Exam

In the last few weeks leading up to the Assam CEE exam, the candidate must follow these tips to ace the exam:

• Take short breaks between study sessions – It will significantly improve your focus while keeping stress at bay. If you study for 1 hour, you can say take a break of 10-15 minutes.
• Don’t start any new activity at this stage – This can even include taking fresh suggestions from your teacher or mentor, unless you really need it. It is not the time to learn anything new, but rather to enhance what you have already learnt. Fill the small gaps here and there, type!
• Stay motivated – It is important that you stay upbeat and positive. Staying away from negative and doomsayers can help immensely. 
• Do quick revisions – If you are maintaining a note, it will come in handy for quick revision. Also, revise the important formulas and concepts.
• Don’t set any specific target – If you start thinking like, I will attempt this and that many questions, it will only put unnecessary pressure on you. Rather focus on the preparation, over which you have any control.
• Once inside the exam hall, attempt the easy questions first. 
• However, if you get stuck even with an easy-looking question, don’t panic. It may and does happen sometimes. Rather take a deep breath and move on to the next question without wasting too much time.
• If you manage to complete the rest of the paper, you can come back and complete the remaining question.
• Ensure you have a good night’s sleep, especially before the exam day. If you come to the exam center sleep-deprived, it can cause havoc!

Assam CEE Answer Key 2026

Assam Science & Technological University (ASTU) will release the provisional answer key of Assam CEE 2026 at 6 pm on the day of the exam. The answer key will be released online at – astu.ac.in. The direct link to download the answer key will be given above.

The provisional key will contain the official answers (or keys) to all the questions asked in the Assam CEE 2026 exam. So, you can compare your answers with those given in the answer key to calculate probable scores.

Assam CEE Result 2026

The results of Assam CEE 2026 will be declared around the 3rd week of May 2026. The candidate can check their results online at astu.ac.in. The candidate can check the result and download the scorecard by following the link that is provided on this page.

The candidate needs to log in to the result log-in portal using their application number and password.

The Assam CEE 2026 result will be prepared by consulting the final answer key. The result-cum-scorecard includes details like the subject-wise and total scores, and the merit rank.

The Assam CEE 2025 scores is used to shortlist candidates for Assam CEE 2026 counseling.

Assam CEE Counseling 2026

The counseling process for Assam CEE 2026 will be conducted online and will have THREE or more seat allotment rounds. A SPOT admission round may also be conducted if there are vacant seats left after completion of regular rounds of seat allotment.

Assam CEE 2026 counseling registration will be conducted online from around the 2nd week to the 4th week of June 2026. The registration will be open for candidates who have qualified the Assam CEE 2026 exam.

As part of the counseling process, the candidates must get registered, fill in academic options, and pay the Assam CEE 2026 counseling fee of INR 1000.

The Assam 2026 seat allotment will be based on merit rank of Assam CEE 2025 exam.

Candidates who are allotted seats will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee and confirm their seats. If the payment is not made within in the given deadline, the seat allotment will be cancelled.
