JEE Main Admit Card 2025 – NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 admit cards separately for the January and April session exams.
The admit card is typically released 03 days before the date of the exam.
You can download the admit card online at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The direct link to download the admit card will also be given here. Login to the admit card download portal your application no. and password to download the admit card.
Admit cards will be issued to all candidates who complete JEE Main 2026 application form, which is expected to OPEN in the 4th week of October 2025. JEE Main 2026 exam (Session 1) will be conducted around the 2nd half of January 2026.
NTA will release JEE Main 2026 exam city intimation slip before the admit card. It is intended to inform candidates about the exam city they have been allocated. Also, city slip is not required on exam-day. Instead, take a printout (preferably a color printout) of the JEE Mains admit card 2026 along with a photo ID proof. The admit card will carry details of JEE Main 2026 exam center, roll number, exam date, slot, and timings, and JEE Main 2026 exam-day guidelines.

How to download JEE Main Admit Card 2026
The candidate needs to follow these steps to download the JEE Main 2026 admit card:
- Go to the NTA JEE Main official portal
- If the JEE Main 2026 admit card is released, the download link will be activated
- Click on the admit card download link
- In the log-in window that opens, enter your application number and password/date of birth
- On successful log-in, you can download the admit card in PDF format
- Take a printout of the admit card.
Note that hardcopies of the JEE Main 2026 admit card will not be sent to the candidate.
JEE Main Admit Card 2026 – Information to Check
The admit card-cum-hall ticket of JEE Main 2026 will carry the following information:
- Roll Number
- Candidate’s name
- Gender
- Category
- PwD status
- Application Number
- Father’s name
- Date of birth
- State of Eligibility
- Scribe required or not
- Candidate’s photograph and signature
- Program applied for
- Medium of Question Paper
- Date, Shift, and timings of the exam
- Test center details
- QR Code and Bar Code – Before downloading the admit card, ensure that it contains the QR code and barcode.
- The admit card will also have spaces where the candidate will have to affix a photograph (must be the same as the one uploaded when filling the application form), left hand thumb impression, and signature (to be signed on the day of the exam in presence of the invigilator).

JEE Main Admit Card 2026 – Exam Guidelines
The candidate must follow the following guidelines on the day of the JEE Main 2025 (Session 2) exam.
- Reporting Time – Report to the exam 2 hours before the exam commences.
- Take your seats without delay – Candidates must take their seats immediately after entering the JEE Main 2026 exam hall. If the candidates do not report on time they are likely to miss some of the important instructions to be announced in the examination rooms/ halls. The NTA will not bear responsibility if that happens.
- Display the admit card if asked – The candidate must show, on-demand, the admit card. Exam officials are authorized to verify the identity of candidates. Candidates must extend their full cooperation. Candidates who do not possess the admit card and authorized Photo IDs will not be permitted to take the exam.
- Allotment of seats in the JEE Main 2026 exam center – A seat indicating Roll Number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find and sit in their allocated seats only. If a candidate changes his/her seat and does not sit on the allotted seat, he or she may be disqualified. No plea will be entertained in this regard.
- Verification of JEE Main 2026 question paper – The candidate must ensure that the Question Paper displayed on the computer is as per the subject indicated in the admit card and opted by the candidate. If the subject of the Question Paper is other than the one the candidate opted for, it must be brought to the notice of the Invigilator.
- Assistance during the exam – Candidates can approach the Centre Superintendent or Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency, or any other information during the course of the examination.
- Items to be carried by Paper 2 candidates – Those appearing in JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 (B.Arch), don’t forget to carry a Geometry Box Set, Pencils, Erasers, and Colour Pencils or Crayons.
- PwD candidates must also bring a PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
- If candidates go on a bio-break/ toilet break, they have to undergo a mandatory frisking and Biometric attendance each time.

JEE Main City Intimation Slip 2026
NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 (Session 1) City Intimation Slip in January 2026 (3-days before the exam date). The direct link to download the city slip will be provided here. Alternatively, the candidate may download the city slip at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The city intimation slip will include details related to the JEE Mains 2025 exam and exam city allotted to the candidate.
The JEE Main 2026 exam city intimation slip will be released separately for BArch/BPlan and BTech papers.
