NLU Delhi will conduct the AILET 2026 exam on December 14, 2025 (2 pm – 4 pm). The candidate must report to the exam center at 1 pm. Entry inside the AILET 2026 exam center will be STOPPED at 2.15 pm.
Any candidate who arrives at the exam center after 2.15 pm will not be allowed to sit in the exam. So, make sure that you properly plan for exam-day so that everything goes as planned and there are no unwanted surprises.
AILET 2026 admit card and a valid ID proof are mandatory for taking the exam.

Instructions for AILET 2026 Exam
- AILET 2026 Exam Date and Timing: December 14 (2 pm – 4 pm)
- Reporting Time: 1 pm
- Last Entry: 2.15 pm. No candidate will be allowed entry inside the test center 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam.
- Document Checklist: The candidate must bring the following documents – 1) AILET 2026 Admit Card, 2) Valid Photo ID proof.
- Additional Photographs – In case the photograph of the candidate is improper/ not visible on the admit card, you must bring a photograph and valid ID proof.
- Stationery –
- Water Bottle – The candidate is allowed to carry a transparent water bottle.
- Barred Items – Communication/ Electronic devices like Digital Watch, Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphone, Pager, Health Band, Ear Bud, Calculator, etc., are prohibited inside the exam hall.
- Impersonation and use of unfair means, like cheating, could lead to disqualification.
Instructions Regarding the OMR Response Sheet
The candidate must follow the official instructions (given below) when handling the AILET 2026 OMR response sheet.
- Don’t open the plastic-sealed envelope containing the Question Booklet and OMR Response Sheet before 2.00 PM
- Use only Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen for writing the Roll No. details on the OMR Response Sheet and shading circles. Candidates must put their signature and fill in all the details such as roll no., question paper booklet no., etc., on the space provided on the response sheet.
- The AILET 2026 Test Paper is of 150 marks containing 150 MCQs.
- Marking Scheme – 1 mark will be awarded for a correct answer; for every incorrect attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- How to Select an Answer: To answer a question, completely shade the answer circle without leaving any shade. Incomplete circles will not be evaluated.
- Don’t damage the OMR Answer Sheet – You must handle the answer sheet with care and not fold, wrinkle, or staple it.
- The OMR Answer Sheet is carbonized. The candidate must return the original OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator after the exam is over. However, the candidate is allowed to take away the carbonized copy of the OMR Answer Sheet and use the Question Booklet only.
Disputes related to the AILET 2026 Exam will be subjected to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts only.
