Experts noted that even small misinterpretations could lead to mistakes, emphasizing that while the theoretical portions were relatively straightforward, the application-based questions significantly increased the difficulty level.

Biology
- The Biology section (Botany and Zoology), while not overly complex conceptually, was notably lengthy. The questions demanded thorough reading and attention to detail. Questions were based on NCERT syllabus, and the problems were framed conceptually, with subtle phrasing designed to test deeper understanding rather than simple memorization.
- Most questions followed a familiar pattern, though a few posed a challenge. Some questions were derived from introductory passages, chapter-end exercises, and even brief scientist profiles featured at the beginning of certain chapters.
- According to experts, more questions were asked from Class 12 syllabus compared to Class 11, offering a balanced combination of factual, conceptual, and analytical questions.
Physics
According to most students and also experts, Physics was the most difficult of the three sections. Unless the candidate had a deep conceptual grasp and strong analytical skills, it was very difficult to attempt questions in the section.
Many questions though formula-driven, yet multi-layered, requiring significant time investment. Students found it particularly tough as they had to integrate concepts from different chapters to solve problems, further elevating the difficulty level.
Most test-takers struggled with time management, especially when tackling complex problems from Modern Physics, Electrodynamics, and Thermodynamics.
The section was exceptionally rigorous, with a heavier emphasis on Class 11 topics and calculation-intensive problems.
Interestingly, the section included very few, if any, statement-based, assertion-reason, or match-the-column type questions.
