NEET Exam Answer Key 2025 – The NTA is expected to release the provisional NEET 2025 answer key in the 4th week of May 2025. The answer key will be released online at neet.nta.nic.in. The link to download the answer key will be provided here.
Log-in to the portal using your application number and password (date of birth).
The NTA will also release the OMR sheet along with the answer key.
The applicant can use the answer key in tandem with the NEET 2025 OMR sheet to calculate probable scores. Use the marking scheme given in NEET 2025 exam pattern.
The probable score can give you a rough estimate about your chances of admission. That being said, as per NEET 2025 exam analysis, the difficulty level of NEET 2025 exam was much higher compared to previous years’.

NEET Answer Key 2025 (Official)
The NTA will release the official NEET 2025 answer key in TWO stages:
- Provisional Answer Key
- FINAL answer key.
The official keys will be released at neet.nta.nic.in.
The NTA will release the provisional answer keys for the NEET 2025 exam around the 4th week of May. It will contain the keys to all the questions asked in the NEET 2025 exam.
The candidate will also be given the option to challenge the provisional answer key. The final answer key will be released after considered feedback given by the candidate.
Note that there will be no provisional to challenge the FINAL answer key of NEET 2025.
Consequently, the keys included in the final answer key will be considered to be the correct keys. The FINAL answer key will be used to prepare the NEET 2025 results.
How to download NEET Answer Key 2025
To download the official answer key of NEET 2025, the candidate needs to follow these steps:
- Go to the NEET 2025 exam portal – Click Here
- Click on the “NEET 2025 OMR sheets” and “NEET 2025 Answer Key” tabs
- A log-in window will open; enter your application number and password or date of birth
- On successful log-in, you can download the answer sheet and OMR sheets.

How to Calculate NEET 2025 Scores Using the Answer Key
The candidate can calculate their probable scores using the NEET 2025 answer keys and OMR sheets released by the NTA.
While the answer sheet will contain the official keys, the OMR sheet will record the responses of the candidate in the NEET 2025 exam.
This is how to calculate probable scores in NEET 2025 exam.
- Compare the responses in the OMR sheet with those given in the answer key (Note the answer key code must match your paper code)
- Then calculate the number of correct attempts
- Next, using the marking scheme given in the NEET 2025 exam pattern, assign marks to each question.
- Tally the marks to get your probable score.
NEET Marking Scheme 2025
The marking scheme of the NEET 2025 exam is given below.
