The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will declare the NEET UG 2025 seat allotment for Round III on October 8, 2025. Candidates who participated in the third round of counselling can check their allotment status on the official website — mcc.nic.in.

The registration process for NEET 2025 counseling – Round III was conducted from September 29 to October 5, 2025. Once the results are published, shortlisted candidates will be required to report to their allotted colleges within the specified dates to confirm admission.

Candidates who are allotted seats in Round III must download the allotment letter from the MCC portal and report to their allotted medical or dental colleges between October 9 and October 17, 2025, for document verification and admission formalities. Failure to report within the deadline will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.

Those who do not secure a seat in Round III can participate in the stray vacancy round, which will follow the completion of Round III.

It is recommended that candidates keep their documents ready and regularly check the MCC website for updates on reporting schedules and instructions. The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025. NEET 2025 results were declared on June 14, 2025.

The seat allotment for NEET 2025 will be based on the following factors:

  • The NEET 2025 merit rank of applicants
  • Seats available for Round III of counseling
  • The category under which admission is sought
  • Choices opted by the candidate

NEET Counseling 2025 – Documents Required when Reporting to Allotted Institute

The candidate must carry the following documents when reporting to the allotted institute for admission.

  1. Provisional Allotment Letter issued by MCC
  2. NEET UG 2025 Admit Card
  3. NEET UG 2025 Rank Letter / Score Card
  4. Valid ID proof
  5. Passport-size Photographs (usually 6–8, same as used in NEET application)
  6. Marksheets and pass certificates of Class X and XII
  7. Transfer or migration certificate, if applicable
  8. Category certificate if applicable
