Dibrugarh University Admission 2025 – Candidates seeking admission to PG courses of Dibrugarh University must appear in the DUPGET 2025 entrance exam conducted by the institute.
DUGPET 2025 will be conducted in July 2025. The online application form for DUGPET 2025 will open in May 2025. Candidates who meet the program-specific eligibility criteria may apply before the last date.
Admission to the B.Tech courses at the institute will be based on Assam CEE 2025 exam scores. ASTU will conduct the Assam CEE 2025 exam on April 27, 2025.
Further, JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates can also apply.

Dibrugarh University PG Admission
Admission to PG courses of Dibrugarh University must appear in the Dibrugarh University Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET).
The application form for DUPGET 2025 will open around the 2nd week of May 2025.
The DUPGET 2025 exam will be conducted in July 2025. The exam will be held shift-wise for various subjects.
The DUPGET 2025 exam notification will be released online at oldweb.dibru.ac.in.
In the scenario, two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam, then marks secured in the qualifying exam (BA/ BSc/ B.Com and or Class 12/ 10) will be considered.
Dibrugarh University FYIPGP Admission
For admission to the for admission to Five Year Integrated Post Graduate
Programme (FYIPGP) of Dibrugarh University, the candidate must apply online through the Samarth portal – assamadmission.samarth.ac.in.
How to apply to FYIPGP Program
The stepwise process to apply for Dibrugarh University FYIPGP is described below:
- Go to the Samarth portal – Click Here
- To start the registration process, click on “New Registration”
- Enter basic details like mobile number, email ID, and a few other details to get registered.
- On successful registration, a Registration number will be generated.
- Next, log-in to the portal using your registration number/ registered email ID and password.
- Next, you will have to complete your Profile.
- If you have already filled-up and locked your profile, click on the “Apply in Colleges” button.
- Select the University name as “Dibrugarh University”. In the College/Department option select the name of the Department under which the major subject is offered.
- Next, Select the Programme Level “Integrated Programmes”, Scheme Type “NEP-SREAM” and Programme “Five Year Integrated Post Graduate Programme (FYIPGP)”. Click on “Proceed”.
- Select the Major and Minor subjects.
- Upload documents – In this step, you have to upload Class X and XII marksheets, photograph, signature, etc.in the given format.
- Submit the completed form.

Admission to the Five-year integrated post graduate program of Dibrugarh University will be done through two routes – 1) entrance exam-based, and 2) based on qualifying exam scores

Dibrugarh University B.Tech and M.Tech Admission
Admission to the B.Tech courses of Dibrugarh University will be based on Assam CEE 2025 merit ranks. JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates may also apply
So, candidates seeking admission to the engineering courses must appear in the Assam CEE 2025 or JEE Main 2025 entrance exam.
GATE qualified candidates can apply for direct admission to the M.Tech program; those without GATE scores must appear in an entrance exam conducted by Dibrugarh University.

The application process for these programs will START sometime in May 2025. The candidate will have to fill out the application form online at the Dibrugarh University admission portal.
