  • Largest number of Top Universities: In the QS World University Rankings 2025, there are 7 US Universities inside the top 20.
  • Diverse Educational Opportunities: The US is home to 4,000+ higher education institutions, which include large research universities to small liberal arts colleges. So, the student has a wide spectrum of courses and academic disciplines to choose from.
  • Research and Innovation: The top universities in the US are known for their emphasis on research, technology, and innovation. So, if you get admission to any of these institutes, you will not only get the opportunity to get the best education, but bring about revolutionary and worthwhile changes in society.
  • Cultural Diversity: Most of the university campuses in the US are teaming with international students; this has been made possible by the liberal policy adopted by the US government. It is estimated that there are around 1 million foreign students currently studying in the US.
  • Career Opportunities: One major reason why many students choose to study in the US is that most of the top universities have industry-university linkages, meaning the students learn the skills set that are in demand in the market while they are still in college. So, by the time the candidate completes his or her course, they are job ready. Note that internships and training sessions are available for students in leading industries.
  • Flexible Curriculum: Unlike in India, where we more or less follow a very rigid academic curriculum, the trend is just the reverse in the academic colleges in the US. These institutes offer very fluid curriculums with many combinations, which the candidate can choose to match their skills and career goals.
  • Support Services for International Students: To help international students, universities in the US have services like orientation programs and English language classes. Assistance is also provided for visa status and employment opportunities. These services make adjusting to the US academic lifestyle easier and more smooth.

  1. Divide the subjects into easy, moderate, difficult, etc. Allocate time based on the weightage/ difficulty of each subject.
  2. Daily Targets: Set daily or weekly goals to cover topics systematically.
  3. Revision: Regularly revise important topics and sections.
  4. Mock Tests: Practice AIBE 2025 mock tests to improve speed and accuracy.

Tip 5 – Focus on Key Areas

Here are a few topics that may be your focus area:

  • Constitutional Law: Fundamental Rights, DPSP, and landmark judgments.
  • CrPC & IPC: Focus on sections related to bail, arrest, and offenses.
  • CPC: Understand the stages of civil suits and important orders.
  • Evidence Act: Study types of evidence, burden of proof, and witness examination.
  • Professional Ethics: Pay special attention to this section as it’s mandatory to pass.

Tip 6 – Practice Answering MCQs

The AIBE question paper will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs). So, it is paramount that you know how to answer these questions. One way to improve your speed and accuracy is by solving previous years’ papers. Also, add a few sample papers in between.

It is recommended to solve as many AIBE sample papers as possible.

You can find sample paper banks online or you can buy them from coaching institutes. But make sure that the questions banks are good enough and not some cheap practice material that serves no purpose.

Importantly, focus on understanding the application of laws rather than rote learning.

Tip 7 – AIBE is no longer an open-book exam. So, be prepared!

AIBE was conducted as an open-book exam until 2021. However, since then the candidate is no longer allowed to carry books inside the exam hall.

However, bare acts without notes are allowed as per the revised AIBE exam pattern.

So, you must be prepared for the current dynamics of the exam.

Tip 8 – Stay Updated

At the bare minimum, you need to be updated about the following things:

  • Landmark Judgments: Be aware of recent Supreme Court and High Court judgments.
  • Legal News: Follow legal developments and amendments.

Tip 9 – Improve Accuracy and Time Management

Now, how exactly do you do that?

To improve accuracy, you need to solve as many sample papers as possible. Evaluate your performance, the areas where you are lacking, making mistakes, or are getting stuck.

Next, find solutions to these problems.

To improve time-management, you can use a timer when solving the paper. This way you can record how much time you are taking to complete a question, the paper, etc. If you are not able to complete within the allotted time, you need to quicken up.

When attempting the AIBE 2025 question paper, make sure that you allocate time to each question. Don’t spend too much time on difficult questions; move on and return later.

Tip 10 – Exam Day

Finally, we bring you the AIBE 2025 exam-day tips.

  1. Carry your admit card, ID proof, and study materials.
  2. Stay calm and focused during the exam.

Phases of NIFT Placement 2025

The NIFT 2025 placement may include the following types:

  • Pre-Placement Offers (PPO)
  • On-Campus Placement (Phase 1)
  • Off Campus Placement (Phase 2)

Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) – Companies can extend a pre-placement offer to students before the on-campus placement, which is considered as a job offer

PPO is typically offered based on internships, training, or projects undertaken by the students at the company offering the job offer.

To ensure that all candidates get a fair opportunity through PPO, companies are recommended to inform NIFT of such offers by filling up the details in the CMS with the link provided to the industry mentor by NIFT.

NOTE that students offered PPO are not allowed to participate in the further placement process.

On-Campus Placement (Phase 1)

The On-Campus placement is the most common and popular route for candidates to get a job offer.

Companies are required to register for campus placements as per the given schedule.

The company then can visit the campus for the campus placement.

Off Campus Placement (Phase 2)

The Off-Campus placement is conducted after the completion of the On-Campus placement.

Candidates who fail to get job offers through PPO and On-Campus placement may apply in the off-campus placement.

The Off-Campus placement will be administered online and is open to those registered companies that were not taken on board for the On-Campus Placement.

What makes NIFT placement a success? – It is Industry Engagement

The new curriculum of NIFT is designed to give students a rich repertoire of experience and understanding and inculcate a desire and a capability for lifelong learning and will stand him or her in good stead to face any situation.

Industry engagement provides students exposure to a real-life working environment as part of an academic curriculum, helps them to develop and enhance academic, personal, and professional competencies coupled with a deeper understanding of the ethics and values that distinguish a good professional.

A significant part of the engagement program is based on the regulated exposure of the students to the industry environment as part of the course curriculum under the guidance of both academia and industry.

The revised curriculum of NIFT, which is arrived at through deliberations, workshops, and interactions involving internal experts, eminent academicians, industrialists, and alumni, is robust with enhanced industry engagement through:

  • Interaction with industry leaders and alumni in the classroom
  • Sponsored classroom projects
  • Industry visits and craft sensitization
  • Exposure to exhibitions and fairs
  • Internships
  • Joint research endeavours
  • Hands-on, practical learning experience in an industry environment
