CLAT Cut-off 2025 – Check Institute-wise Cut-Off, Opening and Closing Ranks

0

CLAT Cut-off 2025 – The Consortium of NLUs will release the cut-off at the time of CLAT 2025 counseling. The cut-off will be available for each round of CLAT 2025 counseling-cum-seat allotment.

The cut-off would be available in the form of a PDF.

You can download the cut-off pdf simply by clicking on it. No log-in is required.

The CLAT 2025 cut-off for a specific round will indicate the minimum marks a candidate needs to secure to get admission to their chosen program and NLU.

If a candidate fails to meet the cut-off in an earlier round, he or she may be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. However, if the candidate fails the cut-off for the last round of allotment, then chances of admission are almost nil.

The consortium will conduct the CLAT 2025 exam on December 1, 2024. Keep reading to learn more about CLAT cut-off 2025, determining factors, and much more.

Latest Updates:

What is CLAT Cut-off?

The cut-off is the minimum rank or score a candidate needs to secure to get admission to an NLU. The cut-off will be released for each of the participating NLUs, and will be category-specific.

Further, the cut-off will be released for each seat-allotment round.

Candidates appearing in the CLAT 2025 exam are urged to refer to the previous years’ cut-off to get an idea as to what is a good score to have the best shot at admission.

Factors determining CLAT Cut-off 2025

Candidates may note that the CLAT exam pattern was changed in the previous edition (CLAT 2024). The total marks for CLAT 2024 was reduced to 120 from 150.

So, this aspect will have to be factored in when deciding the expected cut-off.

Here are key parameters that will decide CLAT 2025 Cut-off

  • Total number of candidates appearing in CLAT 2025 exam
  • Number of candidates who qualify CLAT 2025
  • Total number of applicants
  • CLAT 2025 merit rank of applicants
  • The previous year’s trends
  • NLU opted by the candidate
  • Seat intake for the applied program
  • Category under which admission is sought (SC, ST, OBC, etc)

0

NIFT Situation Test Question Papers – The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct the NIFT 2025 Situation Test in April 2025.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Situation Test based on results of NIFTEE 2025.

To prepare for the Situation Test, solve enough sample papers and previous years NIFT Situation Test Questions.

Solving sample papers will familiarize you with the test format, time constraints, and hands-on tasks like model-making, reducing surprises on exam day. The exercise will also help you improve time management, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

The more sample papers you solve, the better you will get at tackling abstract challenges confidently. It will enhance your material-handling abilities and build confidence by simulating real exam conditions.

Here we bring you the previous 10 years’ NIFT Situation Test Questions.

Latest Updates:

Update on NIFT 2025 Exam

The NTA conducted the NIFT 2025 exam on February 9, 2025. The exam was held in TWO shifts:

  • Shift 1: 9 am – 12 noon
  • Shift 2: 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Candidates need to reach the NIFT 2025 exam center at least 60 minutes before the exam commences. Also, they need to follow NIFT 2025 exam-day guidelines.

The NIFT 2025 city intimation slip was released on January 31, 2025. NTA released the NIFT 2025 admit card on February 4, 2025.

Why solve NIFT 2025 Sample Papers & Previous Years’ Question Papers

There are multiple benefits of solving sample papers and previous years’ NIFT question papers to prepare for the NIFT Situation Test. Here is how:

  1. Helps Understand the Test Format – The NIFT Situation Test is unique and involves hands-on creative tasks, such as model-making, material manipulation, and problem-solving.

BY solving sample papers, you can familiarize yourself with the NIFT 2025 question paper structure, types of tasks, and time constraints.

  1. Develop Time-management Skills – Remember, you will have limited time to complete a given task. So, unless you know how to pace the exam, you won’t be able to complete the task in time.

To complete the test in a time-bound manner, solving sample papers becomes essential. This exercise will teach you how to allocate time for planning, execution, and final touches.

  1. Enhance Creativity and Innovation – The Situation Test evaluates the candidate’s creative thinking and ability to innovate under pressure.

If you solve enough NIFT Situation Test sample papers, it can help you experiment with different ideas, materials, and techniques, thus boosting your creativity.

  1. Improve Problem-solving Skills – The NIFT Situation Test often presents abstract or open-ended problems

So, if you solve the sample papers, you can prepare beforehand to tackle such types of questions. Understand that solving these types of questions require a structured approach and outside the box thinking.

  1. Build Confidence – Familiarity with the test format and repeated practice reduce anxiety and build confidence. You’ll feel more prepared and less stressed on the actual test day.
  1. Learn Material Handling – The test requires you to work with various materials (e.g., paper, cardboard, clay, etc.). Practicing with sample papers helps you understand how to handle and manipulate these materials effectively.
  1. SWOT Analysis – Solving sample papers will help you identify your strong and weak spots. You need to pay special attention to the weak portion.
  1. Adapt to Unpredictable Tasks – The Situation Test often includes unexpected or unconventional tasks. Practicing sample papers prepares you to adapt quickly and think on your feet.
  1. Gain Feedback – If you solve sample papers under the guidance of mentors or peers, you can receive constructive feedback on your ideas, execution, and presentation, helping you refine your skills.
  1. Boost Presentation Skills – The way you present your final model or solution is crucial. Practicing sample papers helps you learn how to present your work clearly and effectively, highlighting your thought process and creativity.
  1. Simulate Real Exam Conditions – Solving sample papers under timed conditions simulates the actual test environment, helping you get accustomed to the pressure and pace of the exam.
  1. Explore Diverse Themes – Sample papers often cover a wide range of themes and topics. Practicing them exposes you to different scenarios, enhancing your ability to handle any theme that might appear in the actual test.

Why follow the best books for NID DAT 2025 Exam Preparation?

Here we give you ten reasons why you must invest in good study material to prepare for the NID DAT 2025 exam. Read on.

  1. Follow the NID DAT 2025 Exam Pattern and Syllabus – Recommended books like “NID DAT Preparation Guide” by R. S. Aggarwal or “NID Entrance Exam Guide” by Surendra Kavimandan are suited to the NID DAT exam pattern and syllabus.

Consequently, these books can help you understand what to expect in both Part A (aptitude test) and Part B (design and drawing test).

  1. Build Design Concepts – Books like “The Design of Everyday Things” by Don Norman or “Design Basics” by David A. Lauer introduce you to fundamental design principles, such as balance, proportion, color theory, and user-centered design.

These concepts are crucial for solving design-related problems that are asked in the NID DAT exam.

  1. Improve Drawing and Sketching Skills – The NID Design Aptitude Test will evaluate your ability to sketch and visualize ideas. Books like “Drawing for Designers” by Alan Pipes or “You Can Draw in 30 Days” by Mark Kistler will help you develop your drawing skills, perspective, shading, and rendering techniques.

Make sure that you practice regularly using these resources so that you can quickly and effectively express your ideas on paper during the exam.

  1. Harness Creativity and Innovation – Books like “Creative Confidence” by Tom Kelley and David Kelley will inspire and help you to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions, which is a key aspect of the NID DAT.

These books are designed to help you approach problems with a fresh perspective and a fresh pair of eyes.

  1. Practice with Solved Papers and Mock Tests – The candidate must solve NID DAT sample papers to improve their time-management and problem-solving skills. When solving sample papers, make sure that you are solving different types of questions, and not repeating the same question type over and over again. Also, you can start solving sample papers very early on in your NID DAT exam preparation; for instance, after completing a chapter, solve the related questions given in the NID sample papers. Mock tests, meanwhile, are suited closer to the exam to give final touches to one’s exam preparation.
  1. Develop Observational and Analytical Skills – The NID DAT tests your ability to observe, analyze, and interpret scenarios. So, you need to sharpen these skills. Quantitative Aptitude” by R. S. Aggarwal is one of the best books for this purpose. Additionally, the book will also help you prepare for the logical and analytical questions in Part A of the exam.
  1. Stay Updated about Design Trends – Reading design-related books will ensure you are updated about the current trends, famous designers, etc. Also, read up a bit on design history. These details can be useful for both the written test and the interview/portfolio round. For example, “The Design of Everyday Things” provides insights into how design impacts daily life, a topic often explored in the exam.
  1. Stay confident and relaxed – Being well-prepared with the right resources will help you build your confidence while keeping exam-related stress at bay. It is recommended that you stay in the present rather than day-dreaming and waking up to unbearable stress the next!
  1. Master time management – Remember, all your effort will go up in flames if you are not able to complete the paper or have to miss out on easy questions because you have run out of time. The NID DAT is a lengthy exam, and you need to prepare for that. Use books with practice questions and mock tests to learn how to allocate time effectively between sections.
  1. Prepare for the Portfolio Round – The books mentioned above are primarily focused on the written exam, but will also indirectly help you build a strong portfolio by improving your design thinking, sketching, and presentation skills. Remember – A good portfolio is essential for the second stage (DAT Mains) of the NID admission process.

Where can I download official JEE Main question papers?

Are you looking to download the official question papers for the JEE Main exam?

The official question papers for the JEE Main exam are great resources to prepare for the exam, you won’t get it on the official website – https://jeemain.nta.ac.in.

NTA does release the session-wise JEE Main answer keys. But somehow it deems fit not to release the question papers for the exam.

At first look, it may not look like a big deal.

But if you look closer, it only shows how our exam conducting bodies have left our students at the mercy of the coaching and online education providers.

These unofficial sources offer the option to download the question papers ONLY after the candidate has registered on their portals.

So, to download the question papers, the student will have to share their personal details – phone number, email ID, etc. – with this commercial entity.

With no official JEE Main question papers available, the candidate ends up on these commercial web portals.

Also Read:

Authenticity of the JEE Main question papers?

With NTA not releasing the official question papers, the candidate invariably ends up going to the unofficial entities.

But one problem can be how does one ascertain whether the question papers hosted by these entities are the actual ones?

What if some questions given in these papers are incorrect?

Who will bear the responsibility in this case? Will NTA bear any responsibility at all?

Students are cattle fodder

It is incumbent on the NTA that they release as much information they can for the benefit of the test takers.

Also, they must keep future aspirants in mind.

For instance, a student in class 8 or 9 needs to get the basic minimum resources for exam preparation on the NTA portal itself.

Why send him or her on a wild goose chase wherein they land in these third party sites. Of course, these commercial entities do serve a useful purpose, but let the candidate decide when to approach these sites.

Some of these websites can counsel and also help in exam preparation. But still, the student should not be handicapped into going to any third party website.

JEE Main Sample Papers

The NTA can also release sample papers for JEE Main exam.

It will have an official stamp over the types of probable questions that may be asked in the JEE Main entrance exam.

So, any question preparing for the JEE Main 2025 exam at home will benefit immensely.
