NIFT Acceptance Rate 2025 – The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the year-wise NIFT acceptance rate on its admission portal. The information will be available once the NIFT 2025 counseling process concludes in June-July.

The NIFT admission process commences in November-December.

By consulting the NIFT 2025 acceptance rate, the candidate will get to know how difficult or easy it is to get admission to a NIFT.

What does the NIFT acceptance rate signify?

The acceptance rate can signal the following things:

  • Low acceptance rate – If the acceptance rate is low, it is a sign that getting admission to the institute is tough. Typically, the older and higher-ranked NIFTs are much in demand. Consequently, for every available seat, there is a large number of applicants. This pushes up the cut-off. So, unless you get a good score in NIFT 2025, your chances of getting admission to one of the top NIFTs could be dim.
  • High acceptance rate  – A higher acceptance rate can mean that admission is easy. The lowly-rated or the new NIFTs are typically the second or last preference of candidates. Consequently, there are seats available for grabs. So, even if you get a decent enough NIFT merit rank 2025, you are in contention for a seat in these institutes.
  • Acceptance rate is neither high nor low – The mid-rung NIFTs fall in this category. The cut-off for these institutes are not very high, so they are in reach for the average students.

Are NIFT seat acceptance rate and cut-off same?

The NIFT cut-off and seat-acceptance rate in a sense are TWO sides of the same coin. 

For instance, a high cut-off can mean high competition and a difficult admission process. A low acceptance rate signifies the same thing.

In other words:

Low acceptance and High cut-off, Low cut-off and high acceptance rates are complimentary. 

That being said, NIFT cut-off is much more detailed, easily available and gives a specific opening or closing rank.

NIFT Acceptance Rate Highlights

Here are some important inferences that can be derived from NIFT acceptance rate.

  1. The acceptance rate was the highest in the 2020-21 academic session. As we can see from the table above, it was due to the fewer number of applicants. For instance, there were 20242 applications against 3777 seats that were filled.
  2. The acceptance rate in 2018-19 and 2014-15 was 10.4%. This was the lowest acceptance rate for the period.
  3. Data suggests that the acceptance rate is not fixed, and can alternate between low to high. 
  4. The acceptance rate is influenced by multiple factors, like:
    1. Number of applicants appearing in the NIFT exam
    2. Total number of candidates who qualify in the exam
    3. Seat intake
    4. Category of the candidate, etc.
  5. If any of the above factors change, the acceptance rate may also change.

Year-wise NIFT Seat Acceptance Rate

The acceptance rate is one of the best tools to gauge how difficult or competitive the NIFT exam is. 

Take for instance, the NIFT acceptance rate hovers in the 10-19% range.

That means, for every seat, there are around 5-7 applicants.

NIFT Admission Process 2025

To get admission to the NIFTs, the candidate needs to crack the NIFT entrance exam 2025.

The NIFT exam has the following STAGES:

  1. Written exams, comprising CAT and GAT
  2. Situation Test/ Personal Interview

B.Des and M.Des candidates need to appear in both CAT and GAT. Meanwhile, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M candidates only need to take the GAT exam.

According to the official NIFT 2025 exam pattern, GAT will be an online exam, while CAT will be offline-based.

The FINAL result of NIFT 2025 will be prepared by giving weighatge to: GAT, CAT, and Situation Test/ Interview.

NIFT 2025 Exam Update

The NTA conducted the NIFT 2025 exam on February 9, 2025. The exam had two papers – CAT and GAT. GAT was a common paper, while only B.Des and M.Des candidates needed to take the CAT.

The NIFT 2025 answer key (provisional) with recorded responses was released on February 15. The results of NIFT 2025 were declared on April 25.

The Stage 2 exam are also now over.

NTA will next declare the NIFT 2026 final results.

VITEEE Cut-off 2025 – Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will release the VITEEE 2025 cut-off at the time of VITEEE 2025 counseling and seat allotment. However, the institute may not make the cut-off public

The VITEEE 2025 cut-off will be prepared for each participating institute and will be category-specific. Candidates who meet the cut-off for a seat allotment round will be considered for admission in that round. However, if the candidate misses the cut-off, then he or she may be considered for seat allotment in subsequent rounds (if available).

However, if the candidate misses the VITEEE cut-off for the last round of seat allotment, the candidate is effectively out of the admission process.

CUET 2025 Exam Day Guidelines and Dos & Don’ts – Exam day is probably the most important day for the CUET UG 2025 aspirant. It is because if you can go through the day unscathed, it can mean you have significantly increased your chances of getting a good score in the CUET UG 2025 exam.

The CUET (UG) 2025 exam was conducted from 13 May 2025 to 03 June 2025 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Funnily, it is not always enough to have a decent exam preparation, because if you make silly mistakes on the day of the exam, it can ruin everything.

CUET Exam Day Guidelines – Test Timings, Reporting & Gate Closing Time

If upon screening, it is discovered that any candidate is actually carrying a suspected device within such an item of faith, he/ she may be asked not to take it into the examination hall. 
Gate closing timeThe candidates must reach the exam centre at least half an hour (30 minutes) before the commencement of the exam. 
After that, no entry will be allowed inside the exam venue. 
This means, gates will be closed 30 minutes before the exam starts.

Mandatory Items to carry for CUET UG 2025 exam

The candidate must carry the following items with them when reporting to the CUET UG 2025 exam center.

  • Admit Card – Carry the CUET UG 2025 admit card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
  • A simple transparent Ball-point pen 
  • Additional photograph (same as uploaded on the CUET UG 2025 application form) to be pasted on the attendance sheet in the Examination Room/ Hall.
  • Valid ID proof – An authorized photo ID (must be original, valid, and non-expired) – School Identity Card, PAN card, Passport, Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph, Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph, or Bank Passbook with Photograph.
  • PwD certificate (if applicable) – If the candidate has claimed relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category, then they must also bring the relevant certificate issued by an authorized medical officer. 

CUET UG 2025 exam guidelines for Diabetic Candidates

If the candidate is a diabetic, then they are also allowed to carry sugar tablets / fruits (like banana/apple/orange).

CUET UG 2025 Exam-day Instructions – List of Barred Items

Extensive and compulsory frisking using highly sensitive metal detectors will be done before the candidate is allowed to enter the CUET 2025 exam centre. 

If you are found carrying any of the following items inside the exam hall, you can be disqualified. 

  • Any item like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic
  • Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.
  • Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, etc.
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, etc.
  • Any Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
  • Any ornaments/metallic items.
  • Any food items opened or packed, water bottles, etc.
  • Any other item that could be used for unfair means, communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc. 

CUET UG 2025 Exam-day Instructions – Dress Code

The NTA has postulated the following guidelines related to the CUET 2025 (UG) dress code.

  • Heavy clothes with long sleeves are not permitted. However, in case, candidates come in cultural/ customary dress at the Examination Centre, they should report at least an hour before the last reporting time so that there is enough time for proper frisking without an inconvenience to the candidate while maintaining the sanctity of the examination. 
  • Slippers, and sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted. 
  • In case of any deviation required due to unavoidable (medical, etc.) circumstances, specific approval of NTA must be taken before the admit cards are issued.

The TG EAPCET 2025 answer key objection window is now closed. The window to submit objections against the provisional answer key for the Agriculture and Pharmacy (A & P) stream was open from May 4-6, and for the Engineering (E) stream from May 5-7. 2025

How to Calculate Score Using TG EAPCET Answer Key 2025

Using the answer key, the candidate can calculate their expected score in the TG EAPCET 205 exam. To calculate your probable score, follow these steps:

  1. First, calculate the number of correct attempts.
  2. You need to then assign marks for each correct answer. Consult TG EAPCET 2025 exam pattern for the marking scheme.
  3. Next, tally the marks to get the total or expected score in TG EAPCET 2025
  4. The expected score will give you an idea about your chances of admission.

Note that in some cases, your expected score may be different from the actual TG EAPCET score.

  2. If the objection window is open, click on the link
  3. Log-in using your TG EAPCET Hall Ticket Number, Registration Number, and Date of Birth
  4. Select the answer key or question number you want to object against
  5. Describe your complaint, upload supporting documents, and also mention the reference book, page number, and edition 
  6. Note that objections must be submitted in the prescribed format only.
  7. Pay the prescribed fee.
  8. After checking that the complaint application is complete in all respects, submit it.

Note that objections are allowed only against the provisional answer key. Objections will not be entertained against the final answer key of TG EAPCET.

NEET Exam Cut-off 2025 – The NTA will release the category-wise qualifying marks for NEET 2025 at the time of declaration of results. The NEET 2025 qualifying cut-off is the minimum score one needs to secure to be eligible for NEET counseling 2025.

The NEET 2025 cut-off (qualifying) can be checked after logging into the NEET 2025 result portal.

Candidates may note that the qualifying cut-off doesn’t guarantee admission to any institute, but is merely an eligibility for the next admission round (counseling).

The allotment of seats will be based on the NEET 2025 admission cut-off, which will be released at the time of NEET 2025 counseling. The admission cut-off will be institute-specific released for each round of counseling. Also, note that the NEET 2025 cut-off (admission) will be released separately by the MCC and State Counseling Authorities.

The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025.

What does it mean?It is the minimum score a candidate needs to score to reach the counseling stage.

However, simply meeting the qualifying marks or cut-off is no guarantee of admission.		The admission cut-off is the minimum marks a candidate must secure to get admission. 

This cut-off is institute-specific.

Further, the admission cut-off is released for each seat-allotment round. If a candidate fails to meet the cut-off in an earlier round, they may be considered in subsequent rounds (if available).

However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off for the last round of seat allotment, they are effectively out of the admission process.
